Need to get this guy off the ground. Want to "predict" the future and counter options. Im going to ban necromancy.

My goal is to be batman. I plan to control the battlefield, counter incoming hurt spells, and divine before combat.

Any ACFs, Feats, or changes are welcome. Please tell me why though, if its not obvious.

Dont want initiate of the 7 or incantrix in the build. going for funk over power.

If you've got turn undead anyhow, I'd recommend Divine Defiance over Improved/Reactive Counterspell. Reactive Counterspell eats your next round's action, while Divine Defiance just costs you an immediate action. You'll have a CL of 4 on divine divination spells thanks to Knowledge/Oracle domains, so you'll qualify.

Also, nabbing the Inquisition domain will give you +4 to your counterspells if you use Dispel Magic.

That said, I might rework the build to drop human paragon and cloistered cleric, picking up sacred exorcist instead.

EDIT: Just checked, Divine Defiance is in Fiendish Codex II, which isn't on the allowed books list. Scratch that, I suppose. Once I get back to my books, I can work up some more ideas.

thank you so much

yeah reactive was my best bet, but i might not need it. I could just hamper the opponents with my spell list.

Do a google search for spell selection tips with site:www.giantitp.com in the search. A lot of good early divinations don't have a save so I'm not sure if you should get spell focus so early, unless you need it as a prerequisite.

If you can nab Complete Champion and Cityscape you could do something like Wizard (Spontaneous Divination ACF, CC) 5/ Paragnostic Apostle 1/ Urban Savant 10/ X (Divine Oracle, Master Specialist, Mindbender, Paragnostic Apostle, or something else full caster) 4. Another option with this is to take a level of Spellthief at 1st level and then mix in 3 levels of Unseen Seer to get more sneak attack and the Hunters Eye spell.
