Cleric/Radiant Servant question

special abilty of Radiant Servant of Pelor class.
You may do a Greater Turning (Sun Domain special
power) 3 + Charisma modifier times per day instead
of 1.

questions:
1. Are these Greater turnings, in addition to and seperate, from regular turn undead derived from cleric class.

2. If they are seperate. Could they be used to power DMM persist spells?

A greater turn is an effect that applies to a normal turn. So technically they are different pools, but to use a greater turn, you also need to expend a regular turn.

And no, you cant use them for DMM
