Some of you may have seen the thread I posted looking for advice on a Gestalt character to make.

http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327738

(I provide the link because there's a whole bunch of the build restrictions and alternate rules there.)

I decided to go with an Aasimar, with one side of Gestalt being straight Sorceror (1-16) and the other side being Paladin 3, Monk 2, (Gold) Dragon Disciple 10, and (probably) Half-Dragon Paragon 1.

My stats (25 point buy, down from 32 for the +1 LA for Aasimar) stand as follows (after incorporating racial adjustments)

Str 10
Dex 14
Con 11
Int 10
Wis 12
Cha 18

Feats I plan on incorporating into the build include Ascetic Mage (for Charisma SAD) Arcane Disciple (to expand my spells known,) Open Minded (because of a serious skill point dearth,) and maybe Improved Flight and Improved Initiative. Some metamagic feats (as we're using the spell point system and there will no increased casting time for using metamagic feats) is likely as well.

Here are the questions I have/advice I am seeking

- Attribute-wise I am thinking of dumping two points from Wisdom (the Aasimar bonus will still leave me at ten) and putting it in something else, maybe Con or is the +1 in Wisdom worth it?

- What metamagic feats would be useful? I'm thinking sculpt, empower, maybe quicken and split ray. Keep in mind there's no increase in caster time, just spell point cost.

- I am set on Bahamut for a patron deity for story purposes, but I'm looking for advice on which domain/s to select for Arcane Disciple. (His domains are Air, Good, Luck, and Protection)

- Is Improved Flight (would take me from average to good) worth it?

- We are allowed one flaw and two traits. I'm thinking Inattentive for a flaw, but does anything else seem better?

- What should I use for a weapon (other than spells)? I am leaning towards a spear in addition to unarmed/bite and claws, but not strongly. I don't plan on being a main melee combatant, but it will come up I'm sure.

- I am pretty set on Gold Dragon for my Dragon Disciple selection, but it is a frostfell type campaign, so might silver be a better option? I would get cold immunity, but I'm thinking more of a fire theme would be best.

- Half-Dragon Paragon seems a decent 16th level option (Full BAB, +2 to Fort and Will saves, d12) but does anything else jump out as better? Maybe a prestige class worth the one level dip?

- Spell selection: I plan on going fairly standard mix of blasty (Fireball, Scorching Ray,) support (Haste, Invisibility,) and utility (illusions, dispel magic,) Glitterdust, Ray of Enfeeblement, Grease, Mirror Image, Black Tentacles, but is there anything that is an absolute must have or that works nicely in this kind of build? From what the DM says, we'll be out in the cold wilderness and in dungeons a fair amount. Also, I'm avoiding polymorph cheese.

- I'm not sure I want a familiar, but with the UA spell point system, the PHB2 Metamagic Specialist option is redundant. Anything worth giving up the familiar for?

- Any obvious feats or other character options I am missing?

Thanks for the help folks!
