Modifications to Soulknife and Soulbow:
Soul Knife
Full BAB Progression
d8 Hit Dice
same saves
1st: Wild Talent is exchanged with Psychic Warrior casting progression
3rd: Psychic Strike is now a Swift action, usable once per encounter to charge the next attack. (Feat is an ACF, don't forget)(also don't forget that you can always have it up pre-combat, for a total of 2 uses)
4th: RAW (don't forget the 2nd level Psy Warrior powers)
5th: RAW
6th RAW (don't forget, you get that +1 enhancement on your arrows, too)
7+ RAW for now, with Psy Warr casting
(Game starts at level 3, he's gonna soulbow either at level 5 or 6, so highger knife levels won't come up for a long time)
Soulbow
Full BAB and d6 Hit dice or d10 and 3/4 BAB, player's choice, same saves
1st: Shape Mind blade rules for TWF apply: for a -1 to the total enhancement bonus on your Arrows you can effectively TWF with your Mind Arrow
2/6/10: Bonus equivalents can be chosen freely
3&4: RAW
5th: Improved Shape Mind weapon: No more -1 to enhancement bonus when using Mind Arrow or Soul Knife to TWF
6th-9th: RAW
10: +3 bonus equivalent, +2 to hit on all your attacks (effectively negating the penalty to attacking with two light weapons)
The goal of the changes was to position the soul knife/soul bow combination in Tier 3 or high Tier 4 territory.
In general I like to submit rulings and other stuff to these forums (or ask the more complicated ruels questions in the RAW Q&A thread), hoping that the external view might discover things that I might have treated too harsh or options I might have missed - and maybe some will even adapt some of my ideas =)
