That makes you either 24, 36, 48 or 60. I'm going for... 36?

Do you have a special, hoof-adapted keyboard?

I'm a 1966 model, age 47, and yes, the last couple of years have sucked most ardently.

That makes you a Fire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_(Wu_Xing)) Horse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_zodiac#Third_Trine), which isn't a bad set of personality traits. :smalltongue:

I'm actually a Water Rooster, myself.

Fire horses are everywhere. Now, Water Roosters.... never heard of them. Are they like Water Chestnuts? :smalltongue:

DanaK

Haha, water chestnuts are one of my favorites, actually XD
Really, though, the Rooster part means I have a tendency to put myself out there, while the Water part means I'm quiet. So it's a bit of a paradox XD

Edit: Crap, forgot there's a limitation on philosophy on this board.

We can't? Oh, no!

The mods should create a forum on here for specifically discussing possibly offensive topics banned on all the other forums.

We can't? Oh, no!

Certain topics are so intrinsically linked to forbidden ones that the broad board rules prohibit them as well.

For example, the reasons why being a Water Rooster isn't as paradoxical as it sounds is tied into the Yin/Yang concept, which in turn is a core concept of Daoism, which is intrinsically part of Chinese folk religion, which loops back round to the zodiac again.

I'm an Earth Dragon, which basically makes me Earthworm Jim. That's...that's not very impressive.

Well we think you're mighty fine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRli1rRMoSQ). :smalltongue:

As for being an unimpressive Earth Dragon, you just need to expand your definition of dragon a little bit...

Ahhh that song takes me right back. Soundtrack of my childhood.

And good Lorde, what is that thing?? It looks like one of those giant monsters from Magic The Gathering.

Are worms referred as dragons in some ways? When I think of a real life equivalent to earth dragons, I mostly think of moles (for some reason *Bakuryu from Bloody Roar and Doryuzu from pokemon*).

And why do earth dragons always have to be big, fat and ugly? Yeah, they are impressive but not really the most amazing looking from the dragon cousins. Water have fins, fire are red and fire breathing is great, wind have the acrobatic build and the big wings, wood are a living contradiction, and metal doesnt really need an explanation. Earth is always pile stone over stone on the creature. Still, pretty cool image. They are just the least awesome of the awesome.

Though the image kinda reminds me of a turtle. :smallconfused:

I am also an earth dragon.

Hm. Perhaps, though I always saw Daoism as more of a philosophy.

Indeed. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_dragon)

I am a Fire Dragon. I've always been fairly happy with that. I think I'm the only one in my family, but I'd have to go check dates and stuff...
