Hi all,

I am DMing a game where I have a psionic character for the first time and he wants to eventually go into the Cerebremancer class. He's asking about using his psicrystal as his spellbook for his wizard side and said he read or heard something about it but we can't find a page reference. Any wisdom on it? I've not heard of such a thing, but admittedly I'm psionics-ignorant and I'm learning the system as I go with him (he is too, also admittedly).

Thanks in advance!

**Edit**

Wow, I've been gone so long I post stuff in the wrong forums...

I'm talking about 3.5 ed DND if that wasn't clear from the ext.

Eberron has an item called a spell shard which is a dragonstone (fancy crystal that ties into the settings lore) that can store spells like a spell book. A blank spell shard costs 3 gp, weighs 1/2 lb and can 20 pages of spells, costing 100 gp to inscribe a page by using a specialized version of arcane mark. I'm not sure of anything outside of Eberron that does the same thing.
