EDIT: Like three quarters of the population in my material plane would gain no benefits from the Crusader class! (Oh wait that's because of an undead super outbreak, but point stands).

Vampiric touch doesn't even heal you in the first place, never mind using positive energy; it just slaps some temporary HP on. There's no chance it will harm you.
