Assuming gold is not a problem (as far as buying crafting materials), is there a way to reduce the XP cost when crafting things?
i already have that feat that reduces XP cost by 25%...
is there anything else?

There are also a few ways of generating infinite XP...

Might want to read this and the associated bits:

You can reduce the number of XP you spend, at the cost of your immortal soul. :sabine: Book of Vile Darkness has the Dark Craft Point system (p.27) that allows you to sacrifice a victim to gain something very much like the Artificer's Craft Reserve. You can also use captured souls and doses of liquid pain (p.33) in the same manner.

Changing the item's base price creates a corresponding change in its XP cost. It's cheesy as hell but you can reduce the cost of an item you're making by restricting its use to members of your own race, your own class, your own alignment, and those who have a number of ranks in a skill that you happen to have ranks in per the guidelines on DMG 282. Your DM's liable to whack you with a book though.

I wouldn't worry overmuch about it though. XP is a river. Unless you're an artificer you're simply not going to be crafting enough to hurt your XP totals by enough to matter. If you are an artificer, you've got a built in method to mitigate XP costs by breaking down magic items; buy up scrolls and canibalize them.
