I'll be playing an Aspirant(Animus archetype) from Gnorman's E6 Compendium in an upcoming game and I'll hopefully be able to get him to manifest guns. I'll gain the ability to apply any +1 weapon enhancement to the gun(s) that I pick at the start of the day but can change with 5 minutes of meditation. If I manifest 2 guns then they both have to have the same enhancement. In addition to the question in the title, do you think it's worth it to dual wield guns(they'll be the Pathfinder guns) or should I stick with a 2 handed firearm?

There is collision (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/weapons.htm#collision) for +1.

The link you have says it's a +2 enhancement.

Seeking (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/magicWeapons.htm#seeking) is amazing. Magebane is pretty good if you feel like you'll be facing things with SLAs or arcane spells.

Itīs not ranged weapon specific. But this list (http://www.realmshelps.net/magic/weaponsps.shtml) has a lot of enchantments. take a look.

If you can change it with 5 minutes of meditation, then bane is the obvious choice. +2 to hit and +2+2d6 damage. I'd leave it on something else as the default though, and then switch to bane whenever you get a chance to.

There's also ghost touch if you expect incorporeal foes and revealing if you expect invisible foes. What you do is pass your DC 20 listen check (DC 20 assuming the foe attacked or cast) against at least one foe, bullet spam against 50% miss chance, and then when one bullet finally lands that foe is lit up for 1 round and your party can go to town on him until your next turn when you do it again.

If you can get good weapon enhancements such as bane then it is usually better to dual wield.

Yes, bane. Assuming you have a sense of what kind of enemy type you'll be facing, bane is often the most powerful choice.

Woah, that's weird. The list I was just looking at had bane incorrectly marked as +2. Thanks for mentioning that. That'll definitely help me out.

That list does seem to be missing a lot. There's another list on page 241 of the magic item compendium. It's sorted both by + and price so you can find all the +1 weapons together.

I'm also giving a vote to Seeking. Especially in a game where you'll never have access to Imp. Precise Shot, it's invaluable. Archer rogues especially love it (since miss chance kills sneak attack). Magebane...depends which version you use. The original printed one worked on anything with spell-likes on top of spellcasters, which meant it applied to...nearly everything. The updated version is much less good.

Distance can be good, in games where shooting from super far away is actually useful and provides opportunities. That said, I have *never* been in any game where that is the case, ever.

Thanks for all the advice. The awesome thing is that I can actually benefit from all the terribly situational enhancements. I might actually get some good mileage out of Distance if I need to snipe since pathfinder rifles only have an 80' range increment and are resolved as touch attacks only within the first 5 increments.

If you have extremely high Crit range or can force a 20 somehow, yeah. Otherwise I'd say pass.
