but the thing is my friends and have I have played D&D for a while now, but we had to move far away from each other with one of us switching country and all.

but we wan't to play D&D still, so i was wondering if any of you guys knew like online dice roller or nice programs to help run a session more online

obviously there is skype, but not sure if that will cut it.

I have seen some online character sheets aswell maybe they are any good.

I've used Roll20 in the past.
It provides you with a grid based map, the ability to draw or port images onto the grid, and character markers to be controlled by each player.

It has a built in voice chat, though I suggest disabling it for another.
Then you can build and share the character sheets via an online program like Mythweavers.

d20srd.org has a Dice Roller (http://www.d20srd.org/extras/d20dicebag/). IIRC the play by post forums here have a dice rolling command as well.
