So in the books, sneak attack and skirmish only work within 30 feet of your intended target when using a bow or other ranged weapon. But with the feat far shot it increases the range increment of the weapon by 1.5. I was curious if that range increment increase would also multiply the skirmish or sneak attack range by 1.5. Any thoughts or advice would be awesome. Thanks guys.

Not by RAW, no. The sneak attack/skirmish range is not dependent on a weapon's range increments.

Sneak attack/skirmish range is different from a weapon's range increment. So no, increasing a weapon's range increment doesn't increase sneak attack range.

AFAIK, the only way to increase sneak attack range is the Crossbow Sniper feat (PHBII), which lets you sneak attack with a crossbow within 60' instead of 30'.

There is also the spell Sniper's Shot, which is a swift action, lasts 1 round and allows your next ranged attack to work with sneak attack regardless of range.

This. If you really want long ranged sneak attack, basically grab a wand of this and stick it in a wand chamber inside your bow. Alternatively try to make a custom item of the spell (as a 1st level spell with 1 round duration, a custom item will run you around 8000gp. For the same cost you could get 10 wands for 500 charges of the spell, and basically never run out, so it's not particularly unreasonable to ask to be able to make the custom item in this case).

I don't think you can. Wand chambers can only go in a weapon with a hilt or handle, which a bow doesn't really have.

It doesn't? What's that rigid* 18-24" grip section in the middle for, then, and why is it sometimes called a handle? :smallconfused:

Failing actual embedding, mimic modern quiver-on-bow designs and have an attached chamber next to the bow.

* Since it does not flex like the limbs do, it can be cut away in various shapes as long as there's enough strength and stiffness to keep things together.

Five levels of Spellwarp Sniper increases the range for dealing precision damage with rays to 60 ft.

A nice DM can read Thunderous Throw to allow sneak attack at any range with a thrown weapon.

As a swift action, you may treat your ranged attack rolls with thrown weapons as melee attacks...

Ranged attacks only count as sneak attacks if the target is within 30 ft.

A melee attack does not qualify for the within 30 ft rule, so should be able to ignore the restriction.

If Dragon Magazine material is allowed, Dragon 346 has the sniper variant for scout. Loses skirmish for sniper shot. Take a full round action (with no 5' step) to make a single shot that deals what would be the normal skirmish damage at any range.
