[3.5] shadow template item

Is there an item that as long as a creature has it/wears it gives said creature the shadow template?
And if not, if i were to create such an item (i am the DM), what would it cost (with and without occupying a body slot)?

The closest thing I can think of, is the Collar of Umbral Metamorphosis (Tome of Magic p.156), which grants the Dark Creature template.
