Can you make a Lycanthrope out of a templated creature? That is, a Were-Feral Wolf for example (As opposed to Feral Werewolf, which would be adding Feral to a Wolf Lycanthrope). What would happen with the resulting Lycanthrope's LA? Would it still be +2/+3 or would it be +3/+4 as the second creature has LA +1?

Lycanthropes use the Alternate Form special ability. From alternate form:

A creature cannot use alternate form to take the form of a creature with a template.

As there is nothing in the lycanthrope entry to contradict this, you can't apply a template to the animal form.

Alright! Thanks, man.

Also, regardless of whether you can be a Lycanthrope of a templated animal, you couldn't be a Were-Feral Wolf anyway, as the Feral template can only be applied to Humanoids and Monstrous Humanoids.

Alright! Thanks, man.

Note that RAW, this restriction only keeps you from taking the templated form, not from being a Lycanthrope of the creature. You just wouldn't be able to change form. But I doubt many DMs would let that slide.

If we want to get especially pedantic, a hybrid form isn't a form with a template applied because it is always unique and just based off the creature. Of course, chance of letting that slide by anyone is pretty close to zero.
