I've got two question regarding this:

A: is it viable?

B: if so, what can/should I make with it?

If you're going to take a crafting feat, CW is easily the best choice as it can cover almost all of your item needs. It'll nearly double the cash you can spend on most item types, effectively putting you a couple levels ahead in terms of WBL.

The big thing you'll need is downtime to do the crafting in. For that, consult with your DM.

As for what you can make, look up lists of wonderous items and druid guides. It's basically up to you.

A) Yes.
B) Everything you can.

Seriously, in the item crafting rules it flat out states you can make slotless versions of items for twice the normal cost. So, instead of buying a ring of freedom of movement (40k, IIRC), you craft an ioun stone (or whatever) of freedom of movement for 40k, and keep both of your ring slots open for whatever. Sure, paying twice as much exactly negates the 50% discount for crafting your own items, but that way you can get all the rings you want (featherfall, Freedom of movement, evasion, regeneration, invisibility... whatever you want) without being limited to just 2 of them. Pretty much the only things this won't work for is armor/shield and weapons, since those enchants are limited to the specific item types.

Also, you probably want to read the rules on having ioun stones implanted, so they can't be snatched by your enemies. It's not that hard, if the first thing you make is the ioun stone of sustenance (no need for eating/sleeping, so no penalties to the check). Especially as a druid, you have lesser restoration so possible ability damage won't even faze you.
