View Full Version : TPAY/TPBY Discuss TPAY's Sig: Name that sigatar!

2014-02-07, 06:14 PM
Here is a thread for all those people with awesome signatures, unlike mine. This is here purely to discuss signatures, but only of the person above you. One person has a sig, the next person says something about it, the next person says something about person 2's sig. Example:

Hmmm, nice signature, but I disagree with ____.
(Signature:) I dream of the world as a donut shape!

Ummmm, not quite sure what to think of that. Creative, individual, never seen anything like it before!
(Signature:) If I mispeel anything, please point it out.

You misspelled something, it was misspell. Wait, I see what you did there.
(Signature:) If only I could clone myself... by standing on my own shoulders, I could reach the top shelf!
Etc., etc.

Final note: If TPAY has no signature, think of something creative to say.

The white space's signature is, ummmm, creative. Very, ummmmm, white?

So, TPBM, what do you think of my signature? (You do not need a message like this.)

It's pretty interesting, but why are yu the second to last water fowl?

The Feels... geez, that could mean anything. :smalltongue:

It's... very random. An explanation would be appreciated.

It's just so touchy-feely loving kindness.

I haven't done anything about Iron Avatarist and I haven't gotten any kind of drunken PM, so your sig seems to harbor a bit of a lie.

Hey bsketofponies, nice job with puns. Evoking the feels is good, I guess.
Yes I realize I said ponies.

"Professor Port" makes me think of pirates.

Isn't that cool?

I think it is. Pirates are pretty cool. Especially pirate music.

I like it. I feel like I shouldn't have to explain why.

Half peanut? I see it now. Pretty interesting. Also... LINKS!

Iron Penguin sounds like an Avenged-Sevenfold-esque band c:

Aaah! Bright pink! On a white background! Aaah!

My sig's not very interesting, but ehh.

Lots of links. I don't play Pathfinder, though. Totally agree with the first rule of unarmed combat. (And your sig' is fine, mine is far worse)

Yay Factotums, yay Changelings, and yay deception. Also, yay sig credit!

I'm not sure what to make of the former avatar/ now sig-atar.
I'll just say 'interesting' and be done with this evaluation.

@V Whether or not you wanted an explanation, you're getting one.

Back in the days of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow versions (as well as the japanese counterparts) there were 5 stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, and Special. In Gen 2 and onwards Special was divided into two stats: Special Attack and Special Defense. But back in good old Gen 1 they were combined.

Now, Back in those days, Pyschic type Pokemon really didn't have any type weaknesses other than ghost, and all 3 ghost were also poison types, which left those ghosts weak to the psychic types as well. However, most Psychic types were essentially 'Squishy Wizards' and thus beatable. Slowbro, however had Excellent HP, Good Attack, Good Defense, and Good Special. That meant it could tank hit after hit if it wanted to. Slowbro also could learn Amnesia, which in Gen 1 raised special by 2 ranks or whatever it's called.

Standard practice with dual type Psychics back in those days was attack it's other type. Slowbro, unfortunately, was a Water/Psychic type. Water's only type weaknesses were Electric and Grass. The most common Grass types were also Poison types, while Electric types where essential squishy wizards. That meant neither was a real good choice to tackling Slowbro.

Mewtwo was the most powerful pokemon one could legally get in game without winning a Mew. It is one the toughest customers in the game. And it still had a chance of losing to a Slowbro of comparable level.

tl;dr: Slowbro was a nightmare to fight back in Gen 1. And I still prefer to go around the things.

I always approve of impliedly eating cats. As I'm not a Pokemon person, I have no idea what the rest of your sig really means though.

Function over form, it's not particularly pretty but it's laid out okay and has some good links. No puppies or claims of world domination, though.

All hail the great Banjo! That is an amazing picture. As in, awesome! Also, I have visited Rock, Paper, Scissors and it too is awesome.

I'd give you an Internet, but there isn't a link.

2014-02-28, 05:22 AM
So many baskets. So much adorable.

2014-03-02, 06:24 AM
With a wisdom score like that, I'm a bit surprised you went caster. Nothing like hitting your friends with your own spells!

2014-03-02, 08:58 AM
By smack you upside the head, you mean internet smack, right?

Don't look now, but I think your sigatar is planning to eviscerate me.

Also, I wish I had some internets...

But I already give all my glory to the Hypnotoad.

The music the link goes to isn't really my type of music (I listen to Gooseworx primarily) but the link text itself is good advice.

2014-03-05, 09:50 PM
You actually kept the cookie I gave you. Cool.

@V: Yes it is. Since the others are very cynical, they have similar text colors. Since Bongo is comic (i.e. not cynical) I chose something colorful.

2014-03-05, 09:53 PM
(Extended sig)
Why is Bongos speech so different color from the others? Is it because he is comic relief?
