Nixxus's Ship (Warrior Guild Job)

((Sorry for the wait Ekrath, thought I already posted this, oh btw could you tell me which god you worship, might have need for it, I'm designing a few new jobs that have the option of divine intervention))

A large sailing ship has sailed away quickly from the Town docks, this is the ship Nixxus's was seen boarding.

Intermediate God (Lawful Good, DvR 14)
Known throughout the planes as a merciful god, though sometimes a bit misguided. His teachings promote good values and strong morals though he welcomes followers of all types. He is known as The Merciful One, The Healer, and The Bright Star. He helps people that have had much tragedy and sadness in their lives heal their pain by filling their memories with happiness. He has also been known to wipe the minds of evil beings that are near his churches and shrines. His knowledge is also well known. It is said that he helped found many languages including Infernal, Celestial, and commen.

Domains: Good, Law, Knowledge, Healing, Protection
Cleric Training: Clerics of Saito Jaishan are plentiful in the cities touched by His wisdom. They aren't exactly trained. In keeping with His splendor, their minds are often granted knowledge of how to be a good cleric by Himself. He gives them the knowledge to succeed.

A few sailors turn around when they see you, obviously confused.

I'm here to see the Nixxus. It's about a certain deal.

The sailors look a bit confused, but one of them points at a small cabin across the ship.

Ekrath puts on his ring of invisibility and teleports inside via earings of teleportation.

[Deus Mortus]

Nixxus is praying in front of a small altar.

[Raistlin1040]

I listen to what he's saying.

I target him as my enemy for my hammer and attack him!

Your first attack lands on his arm and breaks it with a nasty cracking sound, the man turns around and looks at you with wide open eyes, "Why are you doing this, you helped me before"

Listen. I have no problem with you as a person. However, I've been informed that you are a leader of thugs. Therefore you must be captured. However, should you come with me quietly I promise a fair and just trail.
(While he's talking, he casts detect alignment)

No I have seen your town, there is no way a fair trial can be given!

Alright then we'll do this on my terms. Zone of Truth! You're going to tell me everything you know about yourself, the thugs, and this ship. I'll be making a sense motive regularly and as a paladin, I put a helluva lot of ranks into it.

Ekrath grumbles
Stupid NPC classes. Let's just say I have a knack for knowing when I'm being lied to.

And why should I do that, you just broke my damn arm and then tell me that you want me to return to you town?

Because if you dont, then I'll break a lot more than your arm.

Nixxus opens his mouth and a second voice comes through.

I AM BOCCOB, I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HARM NIXXUS, LEAVE NOW PALLADIN OR FEEL THE WRATH OF A GOD!

Hmm. 20 lvls of favored soul asswipe!
Ekrath's eyes flash green and another voice comes through
Boccob! This paladin is under my protection. He has dedicated himself fully and purely to me and my causes. Drop your intervention or I will talk to the other gods and they will decide the fate of your human.

[Deus Mortus]

The eyes of the man widen in fear and he teleports away.

Ekrath uses Saito's all seeing eyes and teleports to Nixxus's location

You are on top of the deck and you see nixxus, his arm apparently healed and holding a longsword flaming with black magic.

Jaishan guide my hand!
Ekrath charges with his hammer and attacks Nixxus.

[Deus Mortus]

Nixxus rolls away and suddenly you are surrounded by Nixxus's

Saito conjures a magical eye of seeing onto Ekrath. Ekrath sees which Nixxus is real and attacks him.

(Intense godmodding by both sides!)

[Deus Mortus]

((Except that I'm supposed to be godmodding as said in the job descriptions))

Nixxus evaporates in mist and reappears on top of the mast.

(I know. Just stateing that if you are acually god-modding as in using a god, so will I)

Ekrath stares up at Nixxus and expands his wing and flies up and atacks.

[Deus Mortus]

((Well not really a god, if you haven't noticed yet, Nixxus is a rather crafty illusionist ;) ))

The mast breaks down and becomes large octopuss who strikes at you with one of it's tentacles, you crash down at the deck and as you give the octopus a close look, you notice it isn't real and it dissapears.

Ekrath begins to shake with a green aura and shoots like an arrow at Nixxus.

[Deus Mortus]

((Ya rly))

Again the wizard dissapears and suddenly every sailor on the ship looks like him.

(You forget my super eye)
Ekrath sees the real Nixxus and flies at him with the hammer ready to swing.

[Deus Mortus]

((Doesn't work, he's that good of an illusionist, I don't know why it doesn't work except the fast that it is wasting my nice little storyline and I don't like that :P ))

As you come closer you suddenly see it isn't Nixxus but a sailor.

((It's a godly version of true seeing. How does that not work!?)
Ekrath slows down and begins detecting magic

[Deus Mortus]

((Well I don't know he affects your mind or something, just roll with it will you, I'm sure you'll like the ending ;) ))

The whole ship, including everything on it and the ocean around you give of a faint aura.

Ekrath chooses a sailor and attacks with enough force to knock him out.

[Deus Mortus]

The sailor promptly dissapears.

[Raistlin1040]

Ekrath continues the process with more sailors.

[Deus Mortus]

All the sailor's dissapear when struck.

[Raistlin1040]

Ekrath destroys them until they are all gone.

The ship is now void of life, but continues it's course.

Ekrath casts detect alignment. As Nixxus is the only one left, he will register.

[Deus Mortus]

The ship is void of life.

Ekrath hones in on Nixxus again and teleports to his location.

[Deus Mortus]

You teleport underwater a few feet behind the ship.

Saito's powers allow him to stay underwater without breathing for a long time. Ekrath looks for Nixxus.

You only see the ship slowly sailing away from you.

Finally getting what's going on (After tanking his Knowledge (Commen Sense) check) Ekrath casts a greater dispel magic.

The ship dissapears and instead you see a large black whalelike creature.

Ekrath Attacks it with the hammer!

[Deus Mortus]

The hit connects and the creature let's out wail of agony and turns around to face Ekrath.

((BTW it's size is collossal))

Using Saito's power, Ekrath grows to Huge and swings his hammer at the thing.

[Deus Mortus]

You hear a crack of it's skull and it dies slowly sinking.

((You might want to try to get it to a shore or something))

Ekrath's wings fly him to the surface and he scours for nixxus and land.

[Deus Mortus]

((Nixxus is inside the whale...))

Ekrath teleports inside the whale
(Are we almost done?)

((yeah sorry, I expected you to try and communicate with the whale and tell him to open it's mouth so you can free it from Nixxus who enslaved it, I didn't realise talking to a damn whale isn't really something most people do xD ))

You teleport in to find Nixxus with a rapier in his hand, he charges at you, but trips midway.

Ekrath brings his hammer down with enough force to knock him out for a while, but not kill him

The man faints.

Ekrath grabs him, and teleports back to the guild
