Many years ago I was in a Star Trek Game on a forum similar to this one. In that game we explored and exploited worlds, built fleets, conquered territory, engaged in diplomacy, etc...
The map changed daily to reflect the things that happened. It was a lot of fun, but the game didn't last very long due to players cheating.
My question-- the map changed every day because someone went to the trouble of changing it. I don't know if he replaced the whole map each day with a new one, of if there was some sort of online graphic program that let him just make a few changes each day as updates.
Do any of you know of any such programs which could have done this?
I've invented a game which might be a lot of fun to play against others online even though it was originally designed as a boardgame, but for that I need a way to put a virtual board online that people can see each turn.
