I'm short of funds and facing a dilemma; every scenario that I've checked out for call of cthulhu is in a book and costs money.
I'm terrible at writing my own especially since I'm still very new to this game. The last scenario I ran was The Edge of Darkness, in the 6th edition rulebook.
I'm wondering if there are any fanmade scenarios I can look at.... particularly scenarios that are good for bringing new investigators into the picture(only 1 out of 7 of the investigators survived the last one).
I like The Madman because it could suit the above purpose well, but it felt more like action than horror... I would love a scenario with minimal combat.
