I was just doing some theory crafting and was wondering what ideas others had.
My question is: What is the highest AC a fighter can get Level by level?
Please keep WBL in mind.

I like the idea of the dwarven fighter, but the AC tends to flat out around 30 and I cannot seem to get it higher through any affordable means.

I have a dwarven tank at level 30 who has AC 101 as far as I remember...

Edit: with no epic gear mind you!

Thaalud Stone Armour (from Anauroch: The Empire of Shade, IIRC) has the highest base AC of any armour at 12. However, Clockwork Armour (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/cw/20070212a) gives 8 AC and has no Max Dex Bonus, meaning that if you have DEX 14 or higher it can match or beat the Thaalud.
