Would say, a Dark Human in animal form of lycanthropy be a dark version of said animal...?

Lycanthropes use Alternate Form to change shape.

The creature retains the special qualities of its original form. It does not gain any special qualities of its new form.

So a Dark Human infected with Wererat would have a normal rat animal form but would retain the benefits of the Dark template while within that normal rat form.

In summary:
In appearance you would not be a Dark rat
In ability you would be a Dark rat

I said that the abilities from the Dark template, that the Dark Human gains for being a Dark Human, persist while in Dire Rat form.
Reason: Alternate Form causes you to retain special qualities of your normal form.
