Sneaks Milk Bar Restaurant II

[Baeleck]

Lycande brings her legs up a bit and flods them under herself. She reaches for her glass and takes a sip, then turns back to Karaki, still stroking his hair.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and sips his drink as the waiter returns.

"Have you decided on your food?"

"Urm... yes, Can we have an El Jaspero Lobster, and a Sneak Steak please?"

"Yes sir, I'll be back with it soon." The Waiter bows and goes back. Karaki smiles to Lycande and then looks at Feniar.

"Oh! Sorry, did you want anything?"

[Baeleck]

No thank you. Unless they serve 'recently killed pigeon' here, or something similar, I'm not hungry.

Lycande rolls her eyes a bit, and then sips her wine.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and looks back at Lycande, and sips his own wine.

[Baeleck]

Lycande picks up Karaki's hand and clasps both of hers around it. She then looks closely at it.

[Exachix]

Karaki looks at his own hand.

"What's the matter?"

[Baeleck]

She raises an eyebrow.

Nothing... I'm just looking at your hand...

She turns it over and runs a finger along the creases in his palm.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and watches her.

[Baeleck]

Findecáno the waiter returns with their food.

Your meal, is served...

He places their dishes in front of them.

That was very quick service. Thank you!

Well, we have to keep our standards up. Enjoy.

He leaves them with their meals. Lycande begins to eat her lobster, very pleased with the taste.

Karaki smiles faintly, wondering what she was doing, and starts on his steak, occasionally glancing to Lycande.

[Baeleck]

Lycande grins at Karaki.

This is... mmm... very tasty.

It comes out as more a muffled jumble of words, as her mouth is still full. She giggles a bit and swallows.

[Exachix]

Karaki swallows before smiling to her.

"This is nice too."

[Baeleck]

Lycande nabs some food from his plate, and eats it.

Yeah, it is.

She forks a bit of lobster and offers it to Karaki.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and eats that bit of lobster.

"Yep, that's nice."

He smiles to her.

[Baeleck]

You want a bit more?

She takes another forkful and puts it in her mouth.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles.

"I don't mind. Only if you don't want it... which I doubt. It's nice food."

He takes another forkful of his and eats it.

[Baeleck]

Here...

She has a piece in her mouth and then kisses Karaki, passing it over to him in the process.

...I bet that tastes even better...

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and swallows it.

"Mmm, yep."

He gets a piece of Steak and does what she just did, only this time with steak.

"How about that?"

[Baeleck]

A thousand times better...

She chews up the steak and swallows it.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and eats some of his steak himself, all the time smiling at Lycande.

[Baeleck]

She continues to eat the lobster, whilst hugging Karaki's side with the other hand.

[Exachix]

Karaki finishes soon later and looks at Lycande as her puts the knife and fork down.

[Baeleck]

Lycande hasn't quite finished, but quickly clears her plate.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles.

"No need to rush dear."

[Baeleck]

She smiles.

Sorry. I'm just eager to do something else... I wasted our time this morning.

[Exachix]

Karaki shakes his head.

"That doesn't matter. What do you want to do know then? Have Desert or Go and do something else?"

[Baeleck]

I don't think I can manage desert. I'm stuffed.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles as the waiter comes back.

"Can I have the bill please?"

"Sure."

He goes and takes the plates away.

[Baeleck]

Lycande searches around in her pockets for her purse.

[Exachix]

Karaki puts a hand on her arm.

"I'll pay dear."

The Waiter comes back and Karaki hands over the amount of coins needed.

[Baeleck]

Lycande sighs happily.

Oh, you're so generous Karaki.

She draws him close and kisses him a bit.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles as the waiter goes away.

"It's ok."

He kisses her back.

[Baeleck]

She grins as he kisses her.

Where to now then?

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles.

"Well, I don't know. There's the Streets, the Beach, the Woods, the Mountains, urm... a Pond, somewhere..."

[Baeleck]

Hmm... a pond sounds good. Nice and relaxing.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and kisses her, but needs her to move before he can leave his seat.

[Baeleck]

Lycande shuffles over and stands up, allowing Feniar to land on her shoulder. She helps Karaki up.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles as she does and hold her hand.

"Ok!"

He smiles and leads her, gently, to the streets.

[Baeleck]

She follows close behind, and leaves the Restaurante.

[AmberVael]

Aesa comes inside and waits for Rafael.

[Kyrian]

Rafael enters and smiles at her. Where would you like to sit this evening?

[AmberVael]

In your lap?
Aesa grins.

[Kyrian]

Rafael smiles and leads her over to a booth, not bothering to wait to be seated. He sits down and offers his lap for Aesa with a grin.

[AmberVael]

Aesa sits down and puts an arm around him.

[Kyrian]

Rafael smiles and kisses her as their waiter arrives. Can I get anything for you two?

[AmberVael]

Aesa hums as she thinks, then waves a hand.
I'll have what he has.

[Kyrian]

Well then...two orders of Alarra Alfredo, and two Zann's Plan Aheads.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smirks and waits.

[Kyrian]

The waiter runs off, those it's hard to tell if it's to fill the order, or because Aesa scares the hell out of him. Rafael chuckles and gently rubs Aesa's back.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles back at Rafael, and then looks over at the waiter, biting her lip and narrowing her eyes a little.
Hmmm...

[Kyrian]

What is it?

[AmberVael]

I need to keep up my reputation, don't I?

[Kyrian]

Aesa grins at him.

She hums and waits.

[Kyrian]

Rafael gives a small sigh and just gently rubs her back.

I want to ask something Aesa...but I don't want to upset you.

Go ahead. I won't do anything... too unpleasant.
Aesa smirks at him.

Rafael closes his eyes for a second, then opens them and looks into her eyes. Is this what you want?

Aesa frowns as she thinks about it.

Rafael watches her.

Ra'Tiel arrives with another dark elf, arm-in-arm. "This is it, Tanako. Any specific are you'd like to sit in?"

As their food and drink arrives, and the waiter runs off again, Rafael reaches up and strokes her cheek. I have another question....why?

Maybe you should learn to ask questions that make sense...

Roberto nods and leads them to the booth.

Tanako slides in one side and waits for Ra'tiel to sit before opening the menu.

Aesa shakes her head.
Just... I want this night to be normal, okay? Please?

Rafael gently puts a hand on her cheek and looks her in the eye. For you? Ok. He softly smiles at her.

Aesa lets out a breath.
Thank you.
She kisses him on the cheek.

Ra'Tiel sits across from her in the booth, still smiling. "As a semi-professional drunk, I'd be glad to give a drink reccomendation if you'd like. I'm not so certain about food reccomendations, however."

Rafael smiles. So stating the obvious about loving you is out of the question?

I've heard it enough.

What would you recommend? Tanako watches Ra'tiel with interest.

Rafael gently strokes her cheek and smiles reassuringly at her. I know. Now, maybe we should start eating before the food gets cold?

Aesa nods and starts eating hers, thinking as she does.

Whatcha thinking about? Rafael smiles and starts in on his food.

"If you're like a wine, Catoblepas Sauvignon and the Chimera Cabernet are the best in the house, although the Spoonake Chablis is a high-end underdark wine, if you'd like to be reminded of home. It's a wonderful wine, but personally, I don't like being reminded of home so much, so I avoid it. If your memories are fonder, I'd reccomend it, as well. If you'd like other drinks, Mortia's Mixer is my favourite cocktail," Ra'Tiel says, speaking whistfully when he mentions underdark wine, "I'm not much help on the food, I've never been much of a gourmet, alas."

"I'll have the same wine with a Teriyaki Tsunami," Ra'Tiel tells the waiter. As soon as the watier's left, he looks at Tanako again. "So, tell me something about you, where you come from, what you've done, you favourite colour, anything you like."

Aesa grins at him and kisses him.

Rafael returns the kiss and looks back at his food.

Aesa begins eating Rafe's food.

I didn't grow up underground, I grew up as a Marikite and learned to live on the surface. I guess I had a normal life, for a surface dweller, it wasn't perfect, barely making enough money to survive. One day on the streets I met Rosan, she introduced me into the life I lead now. Tanako smiles, I certainly enjoy it. I met new people and enjoy a good life. Regular pay, good food, an easy life.

Can I help you? Rafael gives an amused smile and raises an eyebrow.

Aesa picks another forkful of food and offers it to him.
I doubt it.

Rafael takes the bite with a smile. I like this. He takes another fork and spears another forkful of the food, before offering it to Aesa.

"I didn't gorw up underground, either. Where I came from, dark elves were kept to the skies, for the same reason they were forced underground most places. We weren't originally dark-skinned, but became so to survive the immense magnification of sun from constantly living at such high altitudes. I was from a cold climate, hence why I'm not totally black. The place, literally, went to hell and I jumped ship. Wound up the sole living being in a castle full of friendly undead, was appointed its official ambassador to the outside world, since undead tend to be received poorly, and wound up travelling with them wherever they went. Somewhere along the way I started to miss the empty place I left for reasons I cannot logically explain, started drinking, and didn't really stop. So that's how I ended up where I am, really. Of course, being the only living being among all your firends can get lonely, and so I thought I'd take someone out and give them a free evening. I found you and thought it would be a kind gesture, something I make far too rarely, to let you decide what you did for an evening."

Nazgul enters as Roberto looks up with a smile.

Aeri smiles and nods at Roberto A booth, please. she looks up at Nazgul to make sure he agrees

Nazgul nods and smiles at Aeri. Roberto has a waitress lead them over to a booth. Nazgul smiles at Aeri again and allows her to sit first.

Nazgul slides in next to her, and the waitress sets two menus down. Anything I can get you two to drink?

Aeri takes Nazgul's hand and smiles at him Shall we take another bottle of Chimera Cabernet?

Sounds good, I think you've gotten me hooked on it. The waitress nods and heads off to get their wine.

Aeri grins I just love that wine, I can't help it. she leans over and kisses him

Nazgul returns the kiss. It's a good wine, I have to agree.

The waitress returns with the wine. Nazgul thanks her and pours out a glass for both him and Aeri.

And I'll try the...Rilik Porterhouse. The waitress smiles and heads off again.

Aeri smiles and sips her wine No lobster today, my love?

Well, if you're going to try something new, I might as well try something too. Nazgul grins back.

Aeri grins and kisses him True. I'm always tempted by that lobster, but I like trying new things.

Nazgul slides out of the booth, and gently pulls Aeri out and into his arms. He leaves.

*Atreyu trots in, waving hi to Roberto and is shown to his seat. Soon a huge leafy salad is brought before him. He digs in, munching happily.*

Aeri walks in along with Nazgul and gets a booth as usual from Roberto

Nazgul smiles as he orders their usual bottle of wine from the waiter. He scurries off and Nazgul turns to Aeri.

Aeri smiles and takes a menu What would you like, my love?

That Destro Maguro. It tasted really good.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins It sure did. Let's make it two, then.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul places the order and kisses Aeri after the waiter leaves.

The food arrives, and after making sure they don't need anything else at the moment, the waiter leaves them to their dinner. Nazgul grins. I really want to build the house...

Any idea how you want it to look or anything?

She sits up a bit to better reach the food.

She smiles Well, I guess I'll have to think of something, then.

A large crash is heard from the kitchen.

Exactly, so what better time to start a show.

The kitchen door swings swiftly open, and riding on a cart, the two hafling chefs roll out into the restaurant. The stop just in front of the stage.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.

jugglers extrordinaire.

So sit back, relax, and keep your arms and hands inside the ride at all times.

The two haflings begin juggling 5 pins between them, which is nothing you think. About every 2 minutes, the flip in another pin. Soon, they have roughly 20 pins flying through the air between the two.

Aeri smiles and finishes as well Wonderful as always.

The sushi was really good.

Aeri nods and looks over at the two chefs, smiling

Nazgul tries to hide a yawn as he smiles at the chefs.

Do you want to go home? Aeri asks as she looks back at him

If you're ready. Nazgul puts payment on the table.

She smiles and stands up I really should pay one day. But I'm ready.

[Beymar Emiralk]

Hear that, they liked the sushi.

We have sushi? I mean of course, they should, I prepared it.

Yeah, right, you and that whisk.

I'll have you know you can do a lot with a whisk.

Oh yeah, what.

Emiralk throws thw whisk into the air, and catches it on his nose.

That whisk is weighted.

Emiralk throws the pins directly at Beymar. Then he walks over to him, leaving Beymar struggling with the 20 pins alone, and shows him the brand on the whisk.

Calphoton. Top notch.

Fine.Fine.Would-you-get-back-to-your-spot-please? Beymar says, obivously struggling and trying not to lose focus. He begins to throw off kilter.

Oh, okay. Emiralk hops back his place and catches the stray pins without letting one hit the ground. The two catch the remaining ones.

Zephra comes in, gets a drink, and takes out her book. it's been a long day for her; she just entered town today. She waves to the resturaund as a whole before having a seat

Wearing a thick, woollen cloak, the librarian walks into the restaurante and quietly asks for a table near the dance floor.

((seeing atreyu is offline)) Zephra starts, as though she just remembered something, and goes out the door.

[Baeleck]

Lycande enters the restaurante with Baeleck and Ethrai, who has one eye bound up with a bandage.
{Auran} "I can't see why just healing me wouldn't work..."
{Auran} "Ethrai, don't doubt Elune's medicine. It'll all be cured by tomorrow, ready for our trip."
Lycande smiles to Baeleck as she asks Roberto for a table.
"You say this place served good food, Lycande?"
"Yeah, me and Karaki came here. I'm suprised you haven't been here with Shilea."
"Beh, dead time got in the way. You know how it is."
They take a seat on a table between the dance floor and the fire pit.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian looks over at Baeleck and his companions as she picks at an onion blossom.

[Atreyu the Masked LLama]

(Atreyu is at work so posts sporadically, sorry, I should have mentioned that)


*The llama waves by and looks around to see if he knows any of the other newcomers.*

[Baeleck]

Lycande selects the the two of them a drink from the menu, and waits patiently as one of the waiters goes to get them their order. Ethrai crosses his arms.
{Auran} "Do I really have to be here?"
{Auran} "Just... be qui-"
He pauses, and then smiles.
{Auran} "Ah, we're not in Trogs now, are we?" He says grinning broadly.
Ethrai just rolls his eyes, and flaps his wings irritably.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian finishes her onion blossom and smiles a bit sheepishly at Atreyu. She pays up and leaves her table, stopping to speak to her third favourite four-legged friend. As she stands, she folds the cloak self-consciously around herself.

"Hey Atreyu. Hope you're keeping well." With that, she hurries out of the restaurante.

*Atreyu waves farewell, relieved that she seems to be doing a little better.*

*He heads out, too*

[Baeleck]

As the drinks arrive, Ethrai leaves his seat, becoming bored. Baeleck and Lycande don't notice, as they are to engrossed in discussing the menu. The mephit just sees Libris and the llama leave, but then continues to fly around some more.

After finishing their meal, Baeleck pays and then goes to find Ethrai. The mephit makes a portal, and they step through, Lycande hurridly following.

Aharon walks in, and hangs up a flier on the wall. The fine dining atmosphere begins to make him uneasy, but then he notices they serve Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters. He orders one, realizes he doesn't have any money, and slinks out.

The flier reads:

Wanted: One teacher or master in the Arcane Arts.
Student seeks someone to train him in the ways of Magic and the Arcane. Please contact Aharon. I can be found at either the Church of the Seed or through whatever magical means of communication you can devise((PM)).

After a slight moment, Jess enters and smiles at Aasera. Sorry for that.

Roberto looks up. Ah, good evening, where may I seat you two tonight?

Aasera looks at Jess, Wherever you like.

[Kyrian]

A private booth would be nice. Roberto has the nearest waitress seat them. After leading the two to their booth, and laying menus down for them, she runs off, but not before giving mean looks to Aasera...almost as if she knew what Jess' company does for a living.

Aasera ignores the look as she looks through the menu.

[Kyrian]

Jess glares at the waitress as she left, then turns to his menu. That was uncalled for...

[wxdruid]

Aasera shrugs, She's probably jealous, I make more in a week than she does in one day. I'll have the Sneak Steak with Atreyu Resiling.

[Kyrian]

Either jealous due to how much more you make than her....or that she'll never look as beautiful as you... Jess looks over the menu and winks at her.

Thank you Jess, she winks back.

[Kyrian]

Just speaking the truth, Aasera...just speaking the truth. He looks back at the menu as the waitress returns, seeming to not want to be there with them. Jess looks up at the waitress, giving her his most fake smile. I'll have the El Lobster Jaspero with Atreyu Resiling. And for this lovely lovely lady with me...she'd like the Sneak Steak with Atreyu Resiling. Jess puts extra emphasis on the lovelies, which sends the waitress back to the kitchen in an even worse mood.

Aasera laughs and puts her menu away. She sits back and enjoys the view.

[Kyrian]

Jess sits back and watches Aasera mostly. He tries to look around and enjoy the place, but his eyes keep turning back to her.

Aasera smiles back at him, taking the sting out of her words, Just understand Jess, I've seen that look before, I'm a working girl and I will immensely enjoy the time I spend with you but I will entertain other customers when you're not with me.

[Kyrian]

Jess reaches over and gently touches Aasera's cheek. I understand that...and I love how you can make me feel special every time I come to see you.

Aasera rubs her cheek against his hand, I enjoy the moments we spend together.

[Kyrian]

Jess smiles at her. As do I.

Aasera smiles at him, Dinner is taking awhile, hope it will be as good as it smells.

As if called, another waitress returns with their meal. She lays the food down on the table with a smile and leaves the two to their meal.
