(Pf) grappling eidolon

So I am confused on a couple of things dealing with grappling with an eidolon. Let's say that the eidolon has several attacks with the grab ability, can it grapple several opponents? If yes does a standard action to maintain the grapple work on all opponents grappled or would it have to release all but one? If several attacks with grab hit one opponent the first would initiate the grapple but could the others do other grapple actions such as pin and tie up?

I suppose you can only continue the grapple effect on one target. Still the grab ability is beneficial because until you release the guys they take a penalty and probably have to use their action to get free themselves.

On the bright side, you don't get -4 on the CMB for having no second free hand.
