Simple question I hope. Using a spell storing (DMG pg. 225) ranged weapon could you use Entangling Ectoplasm (xPH pg. 104) pumped to affect large creatures. As I read it you could because it is a "targeted spell," but the description gives me doubt (pulling forth an orb of goo from the asteral plane etc.). I am hoping for a ranged attack that if it hits entangles the opponent for 5 rounds with no save / no SR.
