Light's Blade (Su)
Replaces: Special Mount

A Paladin with the Light's Blade ability gains a pool of Light's Blade points equal to 1 plus his Charisma modifier (minimum 1) upon reaching 5th level. These points may be spent to enhance his weapon in a number of ways.

Unless otherwise stated, any usage of this ability is a standard action not provoking attacks of opportunity, and causes the affected weapon or shield to shine like a torch as per the Light spell. When Light's Blade replicates the effects of a spell, use the paladin's full class level as his caster level.

At 5th level, he can spend one point from his pool to imbue his weapon or shield with holy energy, replicating the effects of one of the following spells: Bless Weapon [Weapon], Magic Weapon [Weapon], Protection from Chaos/Evil [Shield], Resistance [Shield]. These spells apply to all of the paladin's attacks or attacks targeting the paladin so long as he is wielding the item affected. Using a second imbue ability on the same item causes the previous imbue to end. These effects do not function for anyone besides the paladin.

Also at 5th level, he can use one point of this ability's pool to create a weapon or shield of pure light which functions as a masterwork weapon or shield. It must be one he is proficient in using. If he wishes, he may spend the point and generate the weapon or shield as part of imbuing as per the previous effect, and doing so causes the imbue to affect the light's weapon. A light's weapon lasts for one round per paladin level.

At 8th level, his imbuing ability improves. he may use his 5th level imbues on any appropriate piece of equipment within 30 feet of him. These abilities only function while wielded. He may now spend one point from his pool to imbue his own equipment as with Bull's Strength [Weapon], Divine Favor [Weapon], Shield of Faith [Shield], or Protection from Energy [Shield]. These abilities function only while the paladin wields the item affected. His light's weapon now functions as a +1 Weapon, and bypasses DR/good and DR/law, while his light's shield now functions as a +1 Animated Shield.

At 11th level, he may use his 8th level imbues on any appropriate piece of equipment within 30 feet of him, and gains the following imbues for his own equipment: Haste (self only) [Weapon], Divine Power [Weapon], Spell Immunity [Shield], or Freedom of Movement [Shield]. He may now activate any number of uses of his Light's Blade ability as a single standard action (but must still spend the points from his pool for each use). His light's weapon now functions as a +1 Holy Weapon, which still bypasses DR/law, while his light's shield now functions as a +1 Animated Ghost Touch Shield.

At 15th level, he may use his 11th level imbues on any appropriate piece of equipment within 30 feet of him. He may spend two points from his pool to grant one of the following effects for his own equipment: Holy Sword [Weapon], Righteous Might [Weapon], Dispel Evil/Chaos [Weapon or Shield], Stoneskin [Shield], Death Ward [Shield]. His light's weapon now functions as a +1 Holy Axiomatic Weapon and does an additional 2d6 damage when used in a Smiting attack, while his light's shield now functions as a +1 Animated Ghost Touch Shield and grants him DR 5/- while it protects him.

A brief, singular bump to see if anyone has anything to comment about?

its better then the PF weapon bond, although im not sure it actually competes with Divine Spirit or Charging Smite. It is definitely better then Underdark Knight. The Pf paladin's weapon bond is worthless because of the limited variety of very weak modifiers you can pick from, as compared to the Sword of Celestia, and this doesnt really overlap with Sword of Celestia

Id snowball that its probably too few points in the pool of free spells.

otherwise it just needs a serious cleaning to be more reader friendly
