[PF] Aspect of the Beast ranger

If I'm going for the natural weapon combat style as a ranger, can I take Aspect of the Beast as my 1st level feat? Or do I have to wait until at least 2nd level?

Nope, you'll have to wait until level 2 or 3.
The 'Special' Requirements state: "A ranger who selects the natural weapon combat style can..."
The catch is that you don't actually select your Combat Style until you reach 2nd level (this is pretty much the same reason a Barbarian cannot take the 'Extra Rage Power' feat at level 1, he doesn't have the right class feature for it yet).

You can either take it as your bonus feat at level 2 (or 6, or...), or as a normal feat any time after you are 'locked in' to Natural Combat style.

Yeah, I did this and had to use a short sword for the first level. I buried that short sword somewhere in Sandpoint. I'll dig it up later if I ever find I need it again.
