Which is better for an archer build? Swift Hunter seems good if you've got the space to move around but the Elfblade (an Elf warblade for proficiency with bows) feels like it's got more options so what do you guys think?

Deepwood sniper if your DM allows 3.0 material is quite awesome. you would have to make a crit build though.

Swift Hunter is barely an archer with the range limitations. A fine skirmisher but I'd take Ranger/Barb/Warblade over it every day. You certainly want to multiclass even if you have bow profs tho since Ranger gives you Hide/Spot as class skills, which are nice for an archer.

Warblade, easily. Why? Because Eternal Blade.

Warblade 10/ Eternal Blade 10 gets you abundant Elf flavor, plus full BAB, plus maneuvers, plus Island in Time, Time Stands Still, and Eternal Training. It lets you adjust your Weapon Focus to the strongest bow you have.

I want you to imagine using your bow with IiT, TSS, and ET combined. TSS, make two full attacks. IiT, go again; ET, gain another use of IiT; IiT, two full attacks. You will rain death upon your enemies.

There are builds in this forum specifically designed around a bow-using Eternal Blade. Find them. Love them.

At what level? Pick something that's good for the entire level range though which you expect to play the character. If a given build is only attractive due to what it can do at level 20, but you don't expect to play past 15th, then mark that type of build off your list.
