If a creature, for example a leopard, has numerous natural attacks can it attack someone it isn't grappling?

Example: It is grappling character A. Character B approaches melee with the leopard/character A.

Can the leopard on its turn, still hold the grapple on A and claw character B?

Thanks

A creature that is currently grappled or grappling does not threaten. So no, it cannot.

If the creature has instead grabbed an opponent, it is not considered grappled, and thus can attack freely.

Though I don't think you can use the "grabbing" limb for such attacks.

sorry i realize now my original scenario made it seem like an attack of opportunity.

i meant on the leopards turn in initiative

so when it bites and does improved grab...that is different than a grapple?

You can't attack while grappling(except for the creature your grappling). Unless you have improved grab and take a -20 penalty on the grapple check.

You'll find a full description of Improved Grab on the SRD.

It's in alphabetical order, about half-way down.
