ok I've just started a new character. I'm trying to make a Totemist/Barbarian/Totem Rager up to lvl 40 technically lvl 45 since I'm using a troll as a base for my race. My DM does not mind slightly broken op builds so I need ideas on what to put on the guy for melds, items, feats and what lvls for each of the 3 classes and can be from any 3.0 & 3.5 books just reference which ones used.

thank you

My brain just slightly exploded from the idea of making a lvl 40 character. That being said, here's what I've got:

As a Troll you've already got claw attacks. Next easiest is picking up the Dragon Tail meld from Dragon Magic, which gives you a tail attack while remaining unbound. From there you're going to need to pick between a bite (e.g. Winter Mask), 2 tentacles (e.g. Displacer Mantle), or more claws (e.g. Girallon Arms) for your totem chakra. Of course, since by that level you'll likely be getting split Totem I'd advise the claws + tentacles. Combine with Pounce from Barbarian and use the Necklace of Natural Weapons from Savage Species to get them all enchanted to your liking and you've got the basics down.

For bonus points use the example amulet. It gives Throwing and Returning.

I would almost definitely bind Sphinx Claws for easy pounce.

If you're Evil, the Soul Eater (BoVD) prestige class is a nice option for natural attack focused melee builds.

Also these may be of use:

Barbarian (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=1472) Handbooks (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=486)

I would with a straight Totemist but not with this build. In a Totem Rager build you're better off getting Pounce from Lion Totem Barbarian at 1st-level. This frees up your hands chakra for something more useful like Kruthik Claws/Worg Pelt for stealth. You can even spend a feat on Lightning Gauntlets and add an extra 3d6-6d6 lightning damage to your melee routine.

You do know that at level 40 you should have infinite power, right? Be completely immune from harm, be able to do arbitrary things just by thinking it, etc. etc.?

Like, Superman is, in most incarnations, level 16 or so? At this level you are literal GODS?
