Planar Paladin level 6 - mount language?

A small issue that will arise eventually in my game; when I hit level 6 I will take the Planar Handbook substitution granting my paladin mount (who will have 6 INT) the Celestial template.

Given both a template and intelligence would this creature be able to learn and/or speak a language?

Yes. Anything with INT over 2 can understand at least 1 language. This means that the Paladin special mount can understand (and perhaps speak) without any substitution levels.
