Astral Plane Adventures!

Ok first time my players are going to astral plane. What books should I read for a feel of what it's like? I looked online but only found a few things... It seems like it should be interesting.

The best source is Planescape's "A guide to the Astral Plane". It can be a bit hard to find. The 3.0 "Manual of the Planes" is probably easier to find.

As BWR said the MoP and Guide to the Astral are great sources. There's a bit of info in the planar handbook as well. For specific questions I recommend asking Afro (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=317316&page=30). Lastly http://www.planewalker.com/ has some great resources.

Hu I figured there would be more 3.0 or 3.5 supplies lol. Jez, Wizard, stop making books about dragons for gods sake lol

If you need something a bit more up to date, have a look at Planewalker's Denizens of the Transitive Planes. It's a monster handbook, but a fun one.
