Mob of Mule's! Does it work?

Be a Commoner with full ranks in handle animal have 16 Cha and skill focus handle animal
=10 handle animal

Take the Apprentice Criminal feat and Buy 12 Mules = 96 gp

Give all the mules combat training with handle animal.
Get them mad/exited but mainly in a big mule herd.

Say they are now a mob so they have 30hd do 5d6 damage a round to things that are in their square and can trample dealing 2d6+str and a reflex save which is 25+str.

So for 1d4+1 hours at a time you can have a gargantuan 30 hd creature under you slight control.

Does this work or am I doing something wrong?

You're thinking too small. If you're using handle animal, you can rear a wild animal from it's youth. A slightly pared down Elbis the King of Roc (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=10396.0), although you might need to get some grooms using assist other since he's a commoner and not a marshal.

If you want to use a mob, the only problem I see is getting them angry on demand.
