Could you use body outside body as a multiplier on material components that you have? The spell says nothing about material components not being usable for spellcasting (though it does say that anything created disappears at the end of the spell's duration) so if you used the spell to create.. say.. 3 duplicates, and you happen to have 10,000 gp worth of diamonds on you, suddenly you'd have an additional 30,000gp worth of diamonds (for the duration of the spell, however long that might happen to be). Now could you use those diamonds to cast, say, a true resurrection, or whatever else you might need to cast? I know the duplicates cant cast spells, but they could give you the components surely? Since the material components are expended when you START casting, you wouldnt even need to worry about the fact that true resurrection takes longer to cast than the duration of body outside body.

I'm trying to find a flaw in this, cause it seems pretty powerful, but.. it almost seems legit (if somewhat cheesy)

That depends on how you define "equipment." Most DMs will take that to mean "worn items" not "anything in your pockets."

But Astral Projection from core will do this because it explicitly copies everything you "carry."
