hey hey,

So i am working an a build that improves the damage from multiple sources, namely the superior unarmed strike, improved natural attack and the frostrager's frost rage ability (let's note discus whether or not improved natural attack works with non-monk unarmed strike, let's assume for now it does)

so first, superior unarmed strike gives damage at level as such:
3: 1d4
4-7: 1d6
8–11: 1d8
12–15: 1d10
16–20: 2d6

improved natural attack makes it be like one size category larger so according to the feat's accompanying table:
3: 1d6
4-7: 1d8
8–11: 2d6
12–15: 2d10
16–20: 3d6

Now is where the tricky part comes in. The frostrage ability states that the unarmed damage becomes 1d6 (for medium creatures). Not an improvement of a certain number of steps, or extra bonus otherwise, just becomes 1d6. How would you let this combine with superior unarmed strike and natural attack? I would say another bumb of 2 size stages (what 1d3 to 1d6 basically is) is a bit too much. And letting it not stack at all, and just take the superior unarmed - improved natural seems a bit poor (though there is still the extra 1d4 cold damage). Suggestions, please.

Damage becomes 1d6, then bigger, then superior.

Same problem, superior doesn't state a certain type of increase or bonus, just damage becomes as shown in table (unless monk, which is no go due to frostrager)
