Pardon the title, couldn't help it. :3

Atm I'm making a character for PF game but I wanted to do something unusual. Use a fighter class but give it some bardic flavoring )like using the bonus feats to build combat feats and level-up feats to build skills) But I wanted to use a whip as a primary weapon. But there isn't much I've foun dto make it a damaging weapon.

Help? Or at least with some tactical ways to use one?

I like a Lorewarden Fighter(3)/Bard(17) for a whip build. Take the first 2 Lorewarden levels and 2 bard levels by level-4. Pick up the last Lorewarden level if you find your combat manuevers aren't hitting.

Feats:
Weapon Focus: Whip
Whip Mastery
Weapon Finesse (I prefer a dex based build for this)
Improved Trip (or whatever combat manuever you desire)
Improved Whip mastery
Serpent Lash
Greater Trip

Weapon enhancements:
Agile (for Dex to damage)
Dueling (APG/UE - +4init, +2 disarm)
Dueling (PFSFG - Luck bonus to CMB equal to twice enhancement bonus)

Magus is the best way to add damage to a whip thanks to Spellstrike. Pit Boss Hobgoblin as your race will give you relevant stat bonuses and whip proficiency for free.

IIRC, half-orc can get proficiency with the whip as a racial trait.

Add the wand woder arcana to your magus and grab a wand of truestrike, it applies to maneuvers too. Say hello to +18 to your check.

I should've noted in the OP....

The PF game is limited to starting at lvl6.

Monster races aren't permitted. Though Tiefligns and Aasimar are.

Tiefling Magus works well as well, because you can take the Prehensile Tail racial and hold a wand or metamagic rod in it.
