View Full Version : Guessing Is there a name for the sixth member of the vector legion (team tarquin)?

the vector legion is composed by tarquin, laurin, miron, jacinda, malack (now dead) and there is a 6th guy with a sword and shield. Has his name been told? if not, what is the temporary nickname the forum has given him?

Shoulder-Pads Guy.

"Shoulder Pad(s) Guy" seems to be the most common nickname...even though Tarquin has shoulder pads, too.

No official name given.

Unofficially he is ShoulderPad Guy (SPG).

It has not been mentioned. The usual forum term appears to be "shoulder pad guy".

In honor of Roy and his Thieves' Guild counterpart, Yor, I've been mounting a one-man campaign to get the sixth member named "Ory."

As I say, not hugely successful.

Given the color of his sword in his introduction (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0758.html) (seventh panel), I think of him as "Rob Redblade."

He has no official name. However, the forums have been kind enough to give him several. I personally think of him as Sir not-appearing-in-this-book.

Trigak is every vaguely-malevolent character that doesn't have a name otherwise, isn't he?

Redcloak's polymorphed niece.

Also Durkon, Belkar, V, the IFCC, and Rich Burlew.

Redcloak's polymorphed niece.
This again? What happened to Haley's celestial parent?

I'm honestly surprised I've never seen anyone argue that Haley is Redcloak's polymorphed niece.

(Yes, the timing makes no sense at all, but when has making sense had any relevance to the theorists around here?)

I know I've seen that theory jokingly suggested, but I don't think I've ever seen it seriously advocated.

Anyway, the name most forumites usually use is just SPG for Shoulder Pad Guy.

Well actually, I meant to say "is Redcloak's niece distracting people from Haley's parentage theories?", but let's just go with that:smallsmile:
IIRC there was a Luna thread in which someone suggested that Laurin was Elan's mother, which meant under the power of ridiculous forum theories, Elan is half-devil, and so Elan and Haley's children would be a Fiendish Celestial abomination.

That made me think - what actually happens if an Aasimar and a Tiefling mate? Is there already a race for that or did the Wizards not think about that possibility?

Maybe they go the Diablo route and you get a normal human?

You get a Krylorn-blooded, same as if an Anti-Heroes Krylorn mated with a human (EldhinXZurie FTW!).

Nonono. Zurie x Glowy Probably-A-Demon Rift Thing!

I personally think Hannah Shattersmith is Redcloak's niece. Either adopted, or Laurin got with a goblin at some point in her past.

You do know that Redcloak's niece is supposed to be Right-Eye's missing daughter, whom he smuggled out of Xykon's camp to keep safe from adventurers, right? She's not some meme to be bandied about, she's a Goblin with more depth and characterization than a lot people on this forum! :smallannoyed:

I just needed to get that off my chest. :smallsigh:
