I have this Artificer 15 // Cleric 5, Techsmith 10 who just got Leadership.
The thing is right now he's surrounded by this swarm of Constructs he made and converted to his god.
Flavor-wise it's perfect for some of these free-willed Constructs to stick around as Cohort and Followers. Mechanically they need an ECL first.
Most of the Constructs either are or are based on Animated Objects. Some small, some Medium, some Huge. The rest are Diminutive and would be mindless except for a custom version of the Awaken Construct spell.
The Huge ones have the ability to change their physical form outside combat. The Small and Medium ones are made of Obdurium and have their Hardness increased.
Taking them as Incarnate Constructs will work too, and is preferable really. But they still need a LA so their ECL can be known.
TLDR: What's the ECL for Small, Medium, and Huge Animated Objects?
Bonus: If LA was based on Hardness what would the Hardness to LA ratio be?
