So I have been reading and rereading the campaign book, and am torn right now.

Can folks throw me some adventure ideas maybe for the city of manifest, I am thinking some sort of urban adventure and plot points, including the spirit woods.

the dead can no longer go to the afterlife and now dealing with a ghost build up ?

Or the opposite: the dead are going directly to the afterlife, skipping Manifest and the ghost phase.

Quest:
Ghosts are disappearing rapidly. Someone is on a hunt.

Turns out somebody discovered that ghosts are native to the afterlife and a simple banishment spell will slay(send them to the afterlife) them.

The afterlife is full. Ghosts are looking for a place with some more breathing room and note that the material plane is nearly empty.

Hmmm, I can't help you directly, but you may want to have a word with these (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=17077878&postcount=78) guys.

Coupled with the mysterious destruction of the PCs' monastery back when they were infants, and the ending of the country-wide drought...

I read the title and the Lichloved feat sprang to mind, so uh, maybe the dead are returning to seek out their lost loves and then getting really mopey when they find their partners have moved on? So the PCs have to play matchmaker to a load of restless spirits?

If you change the way undead work you could make an interesting setup. If creating even the simplest unintelligent undead required you to bind and torment the spirit of a person to power it, you would have instant baddies, plus a solid reason that the mindless undead are evil.

Don't be silly, this is a totally original idea by me, Psyren, and not related to any other RPGs, especially not any created by Bioware :smalltongue:
