improvised weapons

I'm making a themed character and not quite sure what to choose for class and feats.


So far the char is:
Race: half-ogre
Starting class: ?
PRC: warhulk
I'm going for a chaotic good, improvised weapons and unarmed. I've got a basic idea of the feats I want but am looking for later on feats once I hit war hulk.

I spent an hour last night weighing if I wanted to take that class, but my DM runs the improvised weapon feat just like the class ability so I'm not sure if I need it. The other abilities are nice but I would go broke buying booze for an large character. Also in would have to take monk and I'm playing chaoticgood

Hmmmm interesting. if you do some digging (irl) and carry a barrel of fermented milk it should be cheap and possibly have your DM waive you buying booze?
then you can throw the barrel hahah.

If you can get into Dragon Mags at your table you can try:
Improvised Weapon Prof (i forget the issue) or like possibly City Brawler Barbarian Acf.

Please use a Large masterwork Shovel :)

The DM said he would allow me to remake the old halfling thrower class by using feats and hulking hurler.

hmm not bad. well if you get the change to throw some Martial Maneuvers in there you can also go into Bloodstorm Blade for throwing fun.

i'm interested to see how this turns out so post some updates :P

Consider looking for the Taric Template form Savage Species. Greatly increases your carrying Capacity. Which means you can use a much heavier improvised weapon and do a lot more damage.

Spirit Lion Totem Barbarian for at least one level is also good.
