3.5 Good Spells to Add to Class Lists?

Basically, there are two classes, the DMG Witch and the Adept, released in Core. They happen to get nothing from SpC and other such supplements due to their not being fleshed out PC classes. So what spells from other books ought to be added to their lists?

Assume that Witch either functions like a Sorcerer or is a full-list spontaneous caster, whatever you feel more capable balancing around. I just want to expand their lists and am unsure what spells from other books to add.

Are you looking to do this for a PC or NPC/enemy?

For the latter I might expand the spell list depending on a witches environment or place of power (sea witch, swamp witch, cavern witch, etc)

Unless I missed it, I'm not seeing fly on the list. And witches should be able to fly IMO
