He's always been my favorite Star Wars author. I didn't actually know until I started reading obituaries that he had started out working in RPGs.

The Rules Cyclopedia is among the single best D&D books in the game's 40-year history.

I'll have to run an RC game in his honor.

Aw, man!
I really liked his stuff. The Rules Cyclopedia was perhaps the single greatest book in D&D's history, perhaps in all of RPGdom. And Dawn of the Emperors and the Grand Duchy of Karameikos are true classics of Mystara, and his Wraith squadron novels...

Damn.

RIP.

Nooooooooooooooo...........

May his spirit live on forever. Ideally, as a wraith.

And I've been thinking about his work these past few days....

As a big fan of his work, I guess I can finally forgive him for killing off Tal'dira and Ton.

"Yub, Yub, Commander!" *salute

"Luminous beings are we..."

Very sad. I loved his books and I think he was a great author.

My sadness aside, I'm not sure this thread belongs here, though.
