Seriously, I have to know what others think about this.

Hinjo. Dude, not even near a contest, MIKO IS NOT A PALADIN.

Obivously Hinjo because Miko (I'm sorry to say) is not a paladin anymore.

Hinjo. Dude, not even near a contest, MIKO IS NOT A PALADIN.

Indeed. I think the Twelve Gods have answered this question rather conclusively.

Hinjo. Dude, not even near a contest, MIKO IS NOT A PALADIN.

ANd yet I get this feeling that there will be those who would vote otherwise.

It was close between Mr. Scruffy and Hinjo. But I had to go with Hinjo.

I find it rather telling that at this moment in time the vote is split down the middle with Mr Scruffy and Hinjo with Miko being ignored

I would've gone with Hinjo, but someone just had to put the greatest known paladin in the world on the list. Scruffy's just biding his time. You watch.

I know isn't it great!

Miko isn't a paladin, and Scruffy retreated from an easy battle, making him not a paladin. Hinjo is the only remaining choice.

Yes, really, Scruffy could have whooped Miko's ass if he felt like it.

No, Scruffy's running back to get his gear. Sadly, he'll be too late to use his kitty shield to stop Miko's sword. But hey, that's only because Miko wasn't honorable enough to let him prepare first.

Er, has Hinjo actually done anything?

Have we even seen him with a weapon, use any paladin powers?

Not showing them is better than watching Miko get stripped of hers.

What happens to her horse? Never thought of that.

Even back when Miko was a paladin, Hinjo was a far better paladin than she. He might not have been so skilled, but he was a much better and saner person.

The answer is Thog.

If only I had made Thog as an option.

I thought I saw him with a weapon once, but it turned out that he was just happy to see me.

Anyway, I think he's a good Paladin. Notice how he still has his superpowers, while Miko and Mr. Scruffy noticeably... do not.

Was there ever any doubt that Miko was a terrible paladin?

Competent? Of course.
Making good use of her paladin levels from a character building point? Certainly.
An honourable and good person? Yes, altough it's not sure she remains one.

None of these matter when you can't reconcile the paladin code with your personal ethics. Doubly so when you have no gainful outlet for the resulting pressure - you are bound to explode eventually.

When it comes to the ability to destroy evil, Miko apparently has a very good track record. Admittedly, this is only one of many factors involved in being a paladin.

More relevantly, we've seen next to nothing of Hinjo. How on earth are we supposed to be able to properly compare the two? Since a paladin only needs to screw up once to Fall, even that's not clearly an indicator that Hinjo is overall a better paladin than Miko.

Eh, I have to abstain. Hinjo has too little backstory for me to properly compare the two of them.

HINJO!!!!!! Duh! :miko: is an uptight, overbearing, self righteous *bleep*.

Plus, I didn't see Hinjo become a Fallen Paladin. And :miko: definitely did so. So there.

And as I predicted there are actually people out there who would vote for Miko.

Don't get me started on Miko. Maybe Mr. Scruffy though.

We just don't know enough about Hinjo to say.

Miko was a good paladin in that she is uncompromizing, she doesn't deal with evil, she opposes it. Unfortunately she's delusional, and that delusion has caused her to perform an evil act and now she's an ex-paladin. Win some, lose some.

I can't wait to see how Hinjo deals with Xykon, that will probably be the telling moment.

I predict a moment of heroic awesomeness, followed by Xykon being a jerk and striking him down with zappity badness.

Hinjo is the king of de-escalation, which is far better than using his super-powers.

It's like a policeman resolving a dangerous situation without pulling his gun, or a bouncer preventing a bar-fight without the muscle.
