Title. This is ignoring the fact that he now controls Azure City (and possibly the paladins of the sapphire guard) by virtue of inheritance. Does he seem like he'd fit in?

EDIT: lol, i didn't put up the poll part. Oh well, same question.

No. He's still a paladin and I doubt he'd join the OotS

Belkar's still Chaotic Evil.

Unless Miko, you know, kills him.

But I don't think it will happen.

Unless Azure City is left in ruins and Hinjo has no reason left to stay there... No.

Yay, a poll thread without a poll!

Nope. Belkar pretty much prevents it anyways.

Hinjo isn't completely wacked out like Miko, but I still don't think he would want to work with the people who aided his father's plotting and tricking of the Sapphire Guard.

In any case, he probably has a stronger responsibility to the now leaderless City which guards a portal to the Ultimate Evil Destructive Force of the Universe which is in immediate danger of being attacked by a horde of Hobgoblins/Undead Hobgoblins led by a lich with power greater than the creators of the gates.

I'd love Hinjo to join and then when Belkar brings up.

Belkar: I'm evil you know.

and Hinjo responds with something like "I'm aware of that but that's your own personal problem. I'm more concerned with saving lives than focusing on my party's moral standing."

Though I like, paladins have to try to get their party to work towards good, dont they?

They don't have to try to get their party to work towards good, but they're not allowed to associate with evil characters--it violates the code.

That's been sort of changed in recent editions. Effectively, its more a case that Paladins can't let them carry out evil deeds

Otherwise, its a case of uncomfortable differences in viewpoints.

Sort of like how all a Paladin's followers had to be LG before and that's no longer the case.

Basically, WOTC decided to remove "Moral police" aspect from the Paladin...and it's about time.

THere is a distinct lack of poll in this poll.

For the time being... no. He's got a city to rule.

Belkar's still Chaotic Evil.Perhaps not. He has just had an eyefull of divine radiance, and we all know what that can do to an alignment...
