Something that just came to my attention that I thought I'd share to see what others think.
Under the Subverted Psion (P1 (https://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20051125a), P2 (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20051130a)) there is an adaptation mentioned that switches the subverted psion from psionics-based to magic-based. It occurs to me, and please correct me if I am wrong, using the adaptation may actually result in a non-broken (or at least far less broken) tainted casting PrC.
Is my assessment wrong? Could this 'Subverted Mage' actually be reasonably playable, rather than something that should be banned from the table on sight?
