I have some questions about how use planar binding spell

The normal is bind a creature and make a charisma check.

But is possible to

1. Bind an air elemental and a cleric command it with the air domain power

2. Make the bound creature helpful/fanatic with diplomacy

3. Dominate the bound creature with dominate monster spell

4. Bind a lesser planetouched and dominate it with dominate person spell

and then free the bound creature, gaining a servant/ally without the charisma check.

Yes to all. Of course, there might be other consequences, but they're all various ways to achieve similar ends.

One of my DMs limits some of those options by saying that if you attack/affect the bound creature with any spells the binding circle breaks and they're free to attack you back. I personally don't agree with that sentiment, but I'm also sure he's not the only DM out there who has an opinion like that, so probably best to check with your DM upfront as to what is or is not acceptable.

Looks like between you and me, today is Binding day. Check out my Wu Jen thread from today for a few more comprehensive answers (I asked more or less the same questions). Basically, it seems you can do whatever the hell you want to the bound creature, and almost anything to one in your circle.
