This probably will be much quicker of a rule question than it should, but I was wondering if there were any rules out there for using ones spell book as a weapon? I don't mean an improvised one either, I actually am wondering if there are rules to which I can use my book as my standard weapon (though I pray I never get anyone close enough to need to). I want to focus on a more pasifistic form of approaching problems with my character, e.i. using diplomacy and bluffing and the likes to solve problems, so I didn't want to carry an actual weapon, but I don't want to go in unprepared either.

If you take improvised weapons feat and choose club like weapons you can do it. Would deal 1d4 if it is a small book. It will deal nonlethal unless you have a gnarly cover on it.

Non Lethal will be fine, so I think I will avoid a gnarly cover lol. Thank you!
