Level 6, Rogue1/Warlock5

1). Are these values correct?

UMD (Both classes) - 9 ranks max
Concentratin (Warlock) - 8 ranks max
Spot (Rogue) - 6 ranks max

2). With Able Learner the max ranks won't change, they just cost 1 rank instead of 2?

Thanks

Nope, it's much simpler than all that

If any of your classes have the skill as a class skill max ranks are level+3 (so 9 for your case). The only thing that changes is the amount it costs to purchase a rank. This is why able learner and factotum dip is pretty great for skill monkeys, all skills are forever class skills with 1 skillpoint per rank.

In your case, all of those skills have been class skills at some point in your career, so they all have max ranks of 9.

"

Regardless of whether a skill is purchased as a class skill or a cross-class skill, if it is a class skill for any of your classes, your maximum rank equals your total character level + 3. "

So, with a Rogue dip and 19 levels of Warlock your spot could still be sitting at 23 if you had able learner as opposed to 13 without the feat?

I'm assuming things.. If I have 1 level of Rogue and 19 levels of Warlock my Spot could have 23 ranks? How many skill points would this cost without Able Learner?

Thanks

The above are correct.

It's also worth noting that in Pathfinder, having a Skill as a class Skill only grants you +3 to it, several Skills have been consolidated, and most classes have 4+ Skill points per level. So being a Skill Monkey really isn't a niche in that version of the game.

without able learner, level 2-19 would cost 2 skillpoints each, so 32

2-20, actually, so 42 total skill points including the Rogue level.

Seems I've been playing cross class skills incorrectly for quite a while now...

God I feel like such a chump for screwing up twice in such a short post. Yes, 2-20, and yes, 42, not 32 :smallsigh:
