Rules question about the "The Modern Path"

So i was reading over the Modern Path rules (pathfinder rules for a modern setting for those that are not aware) and i was wondering how could i fit in the gunslinger for a more "old west" style of game. Would it be more of a prestige class? maybe some kind of homebrew class? would it even work at all?
