Rizzen walks in behind the bar from some shadows. He walks up the stairs to the second floor.

No one walks into the tavern.

They don't sit down at the bar and they certainly don't order a drink.

The drink that wasn't ordered isn't drunk. The person who isn't there fails utterly to make small talk with anyone sitting nearby.

Lepus flies in. Greetings and salutations! I am Lepus Thistlewood, and I am happy to see all of you!

A passing tumbleweed takes note of the person who certainly isn't there and then begins bouncing around the bar in a morose sort of way.

Lepus looks at the tumbleweed. Greetings tumbleweed! Pleased to meet you!

The man with the spear watches the tumbleweed amusedly, glancing at Lepus.

The tumbleweed waves a couple branches at Lepus. Having no vocalizing mechanism, it completely fails to say anything.

The person who isn't there pokes the inky insect-like creature that had been sitting at one of the tables for the past few days. It stirs and begins surveying the room's current population.

Lepus notices the tavern to be not as lively as he expected. He floats over to the bar and looks at the menu.

One of the trout floating in a school somewhere in the vicinity of the ceiling stares at the black insect thing. It swims over to it and blows a few bubbles.

As Ctrazt gazes around, the tavern bar turns pink, sheep float through the air, a tumbleweed waves, and the air seems to be made out of taffy. Several mugs jump up onto a table, and start dancing around. Ctrazt jumps up on the table and begins dancing with the mugs.


Ctrazt suddenly wakes up, and then bangs his head lightly on the table.

I need more sleep.

Lepus eventually decides on a spring salad, which inexplicably turns into a bowl of petunias.

A missle curves through the air, spinning through the air. It suddenly turns into a whale, falling towards the ground. Ctrazt reads it's mind.

Oh. Where am I? What is this all around me? I know! I shall call this place around me "Trog's Tavern"! And I shall call that thing coming so quickly at me the ground! Hello ground! How are yo-

The whale then crashes into the ground. Another missle flies through the air, and suddenly turns into a vase of daisies. It's only thought is:

Not again.

The creature eyes the fish, uncertain of its intentions.

The person who isn't there doesn't begin tap-dancing on one of the tables.

The trout wonders briefly why the bowl of daises thought "Not Again". It speculates that perhaps if it knew why the bowl of daises had though that, it would know more about the universe in general. It then blows another stream of bubbles at the bug thing.

"What is your purpose in being here?" the bugs asks the fish in a voice sounding much like a union between radio static and the rubbing of one's fingers across an inflated balloon.

[Saurous]

Ctrazt wonders how the trout knew that the vase thought "Not again". Then a tumble weed tumbles on by him.

Where are these tumbleweeds coming from?

The tumbleweed tumbles back towards Ctrazt.

I am the Robert, the Magical Golden Tumbleweed. My delievering of the golden pollen of life is supposed to be secret.

Robert then proceeds to bash Ctrazt in the head with a coconut.

The trout decides that it's purpose in defining the bug has been fulfilled. It defines itself as a definition trout, and states that it's purpose is to define things. It adds that, because of this, it knows what everything is and what it is thinking, but is only able to speak in definitions.

[Romulus]

Romulus wakes up and leaves.

[Hoseki]

The grammar police suddenly enter to arrest the trout for apostrophe misuse. The apostrophe's family is suing as well.

[Flabbicus]

(It's a common mistake. :smalltongue:)

The trout defines the grammar police as not very nice. It mangles several grammatical rules while doing so, just to annoy them.

[Hoseki]

"Argh!" cries one policeman. The others tell him to be quiet and attempt to handcuff the trout. At this they fail miserably, since trout do not have hands.

[Xaspian]

The Pigeon flies in, skidding along the ground until he crashes into the bar. He has a bracelet around his neck.

[darnin]

Lepus looks down at the pigeon. Hello fellow wildlife! I am Lepus Thistlewood, rabbit extrodinaire!

[Xaspian]

The Pigeon finds his feet, and looks at Lepus. He seems to grin excitedly

The trout does four and a half backflips, blowing bubbles at the grammar police the whole time.

Ishmale shakes his head violently.
What's going on?
He notices his mindblades and his eyes widen in amazement.

The axes flicker then disappear.

Magician walks into the tavern and finds an empty table. He takes a seat and orders a pot of green tea, then looks around to see what madness is going on today.

[darnin]

Yup! What's that? He gestures to the bracelet.

[Xaspian]

It makes me and you understand! What's that?

He gestures to the hover-machine-thingy.

[Uberblah]

Ishmale pulls out his 4 kumas and starts juggling them. This isn't much of a feat because he has 4 hands.

[darnin]

Oh, that's my thingymabober. I don't know what it is, but it made me smart! Yay for smart!

[Destro_Yersul]

The trout becomes bored with the bug and hovers around the tavern defining things. It is upside down while it does this, due to the half backflip.

[Uberblah]

One of Ishmales kumas drops to the ground then immediately appears in one of his hands and he continues to juggle.
((I like juggling dangerous things))

[Magician]

Magician idly watches the trout while sipping his tea.

[Uberblah]

Ishmale stops juggling his kumas and puts them away and leaves.

[Xaspian]

The pigeon is momentarily distracted by the juggler, then turns back to Lepus

Lepus looks at the Pigeon. I am! Who are you?

[Xaspian]

Who am I? ... I am ... me?

He looks slightly confused by the question.

[Uberblah]

Ishmale walks back inside realizing that he wanted to do something upstairs then walks upstairs.

[darnin]

Lepus is confused by the pigeon's confusion. I mean, your name. You do have a name, right?

[Xaspian]

No, no name...

The Pigeon is looking a little flustered.

How do I get a name?

[Magician]

Magician yawns and finishes his tea. Then he stands up, pays, and leaves.

[darnin]

Well, you don't really get a name. You're born with it. I'm sure you have a name. What did your parents call you?

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen walks out of some shadows, steals a few bottles of Kobold Chianti from the bar, takes a swig from one, and heads upstairs.

[Xaspian]

The pigeon thinks back to his chick-time.

I... I don't know. I understood different then... name was not understood?

He flaps a bit.

Maybe... I should find a name?

[darnin]

Well, it's really your decision. I'll be rooting for you though!

[Xaspian]

...Thank you... I will get a name, I think.

He bobs his head at Lepus, and flaps his way out of the Tavern.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex enters the tavern carrying Alena. He heads up the stairs to the second floor.

[darnin]

Lepus looks around. Well, today has been fun. Let's look some more! He floats out.

Ishmale walks in from downstairs, hops the bar and shoves a few bottles of ale in his pouch for his wandering and leaves.

[Uberblah]

((appologizing now for the double post but it's been a few hours and Ishmale is walking in after some wandering in the Omnishop))

Ishmale enters the tavern and quickly heads upstairs to his room.

Gwen walks into the Tavern, she sits at the bar. Cosmo brings over her usual hot chocolate and she stirs in the chocolate chips before she starts to sip it and enjoy the peace.

Castaras appears at one end of the tavern. She carries on drinking.

Fus appears, and walks up to her. He whispers a few things to her, and she glares at him, before handing over a strange blue gem. Fus bows, then leaves.

The kitten wakes up and yawns. It mews happily then scampers out of the tavern.

[AmberVael]

Svala appears in the tavern, humming happily to herself.

[Romulus]

Romulus enters the tavern and smiles as he sees Svala.

"Hi."

[AmberVael]

Good morning, Romulus. Svala brushes a lock of hair back as she turns and smiles at him.

[Castaras]

Fus walks in, grinning. He takes a seat and turns to Castaras.

You got any more of those?

Pest, leave me alone.

[Romulus]

Romulus walks over to her and gives her a hug, still smiling.

"So it was real then."

[AmberVael]

No, you're still dreaming. I just don't intend to wake you up. Svala winks and hugs him back.

[Romulus]

"Well, as long as you don't intend to wake me..."

Romulus gives her a light kiss.

[Castaras]

Fus watches the lovers with amusement.


Castaras goes back inside her drink.

[AmberVael]

Svala smiles at him and sits down in the chair behind her.

[Sneak]

Sneak walks in. "Za-woots. Sneak onna Beach." He looks over at Svala and Romulus and laughs. "Yet another falls prey to the curse of the town. Kodak moment."

[Romulus]

Romulus sits down beside her, continuing to smile.

"So how are you this morning?"

[Castaras]

Fus laughs at Sneak's comment, before buying some water. He begins playing about with some red and black gems.

[AmberVael]

Good enough. She sticks her tongue out at Sneak.

[Romulus]

"Well, that's good. Would you like a drink?"

[AmberVael]

This early? No thank you. Svala eyes Fus's gems with slightly greedy eyes.

[Mortia De Luna Draco]

The long absent Mortia walks into the tavern, breaths a deep breath of air, smiles, and takes a seat at his over sized stool at the bar.

[Romulus]

Romulus follows her gaze and gives a small laugh.

[Castaras]

Fus gets up and walks over to Castaras.

I will buy about 8 more off you in return for 16 of these fire opals.

Castaras' eyes light up, and she digs out 8 small blue gems. They trade them, and Fus walks out.

[AmberVael]

Svala sighs as she sees the gems trade hands, then she looks back to Romulus. So how are you?

[Romulus]

"Doing good. Glad to see you again."

[AmberVael]

I guessed that last part. Svala pulls her dice out of her pouch. It is a little obvious. She smiles at him again.

[Mortia De Luna Draco]

Mortia orders a barrel of rum, and sits back feeling content.

[Romulus]

"Can you blame me?" Romulus grins. He looks at the dice and raises an eyebrow.

[AmberVael]

I guess not. No, not at all. Svala brushes back her hair and then toys with the dice idly.

[Romulus]

"Anymore thoughts on that building idea you had yesterday?"

[Castaras]

Castaras looks at one of the fire opals critically. She holds it in the air and shoots a bolt of arcane power into it. The opal lights up, and throws rainbow coloured lights round the room. Castaras carries on feeding power into the opal.

[AmberVael]

I usually don't carry through with idle ideas like that.

[Romulus]

"It's an idle idea already? Got any new ones then?"

[AmberVael]

Hmm... Svala gives him a swift kiss on the cheek. No, not really.

[Romulus]

Romulus smiles at her.

"Well, I'm sure we'll find some form of entertainment."

[Castaras]

The opal slowly ceases the light display, dimming to a cosy red glow. Castaras picks it up and carefully puts it away in a sack. She gets out a second opal, and proceeds to feed power into this one.

[AmberVael]

Probably. Svala winks and rolls her dice.

[Romulus]

Romulus watches the dice and tries to turn three of them to ones.

Tethost teleports into trogs and sits at a table,
Paige,the usual.
He hands her some gold coins

[AmberVael]

Every single one of the six dice rolls a one. Svala smiles. I wonder what game I am playing.

[Romulus]

"So do I."

Romulus smiles back at her.

[AmberVael]

Hmm... Svala puts her head on Romulus's shoulder.

[Castaras]

Castaras carefully closes the enchantment on the opal. It dulls to a faint rainbow coloured display. She puts it in her sack, along with the other opals. She carefully seals the sack, before finishing off her drink.

[Romulus]

Romulus slides an arm around her and kisses the top of her head.

"Maybe you could teach me a dice game someday."

[Gorbad the Limb Rippa]

tethost stares out of the corner of his eye at the opal of rainbowyness

I could do that now, if you wanted. Svala moves the dice around on the table and then smiles at him. She begins to teach Romulus a game (http://www.exploretravel.com/upperlevel/FARKLERULES.pdf) while her player runs off to take a test.

[Castaras]

Castaras sees Tethost watching and looks at him coldly.

Yes?

[Romulus]

Romulus smiles as he slowly tries to learn the game while his player also runs off to take a test.

If you dont me asking,what on earth are you doing?

[Castaras]

I am enchanting these opals to hold magic. It is also testing how well they are cut.

She takes out another opal and feeds power into the opal, turning it deep blue.

Interesting...

[Castaras]

Castaras finishes the enchantment, taking a drink from her glass. She puts the opals away and ties the bag securely to her belt, securing it with magic.

Castaras orders a drink.

I've heard that if you say "it's quiet here", Tentacles attack. Therefore they should attack any second now...

And lo and behold! A small 5 inch tentacle crawls up and tugs at Castaras' trousers. She freezes it and sighs.

The kitten stumbles in, mewing pathetically. It walks up to Cosmo, who picks it up before it can sit on his feet. It purrs as Cosmo scratches it behind the ears.

The kitten jumps down and trots over to one of the tables, and sits on one of the chairs by it, mewing. It curls up and paws at its tail.

Castaras slowly drinks a glass of brandy, before casting spells upon the rest of her opals.

The kitten carries on playing with its tail.

Castaras finishes the enchantment on all but one opal. She uses the opal to teleport away. A few second later whe reappears with 5 more sacks. She Shields them with magic from thieves, securing them with strangely shaped symbols. She then proceeds to enchant some ice opals.

Castaras' player realises that she has made a massive post, so Castaras carries on enchanting endless gems of different shapes and colours until she runs out of magic, and the kitten falls asleep, dreaming of eating dragons for tea.

*Caleb opens the door to the tavern and finds the only table that can fit him. He orders some mead and drinks it quietly looking around the almost empty tavern*

[Castaras]

Castaras looks up at the newcomer, before returning to her gems.

The kitten mews as it almost gets squished, jumping onto the half-giant's lap.

*Caleb looks down from his mead at the cat and takes, one of his fingers and starts scratching behind the cats ear* You have so much to worry about but yet so little *Caleb lets out an audible sigh*

[Castaras]

Purr...purr...purr...

The kitten wriggles with delight.

Castaras takes a drink, and teleports away, before coming back a few seconds later with only 1 sack. She then falls asleep.

The kitten slowly goes to sleep, purring.

*Caleb orders a saucer of milk from the bartender and puts it on the table. He then picks up the cat gently with his big hand and rests the cat next to the saucer. He then pulls out what looks to be a coin pouch and give the whole thing to the bartender* Keep the change *The bartender looks into the pouch and his eyes open wide* But you already gave me a pouch full of platinum the other day *Caleb smiles* Think of it as a tip *then goes back to petting the cat*

Romulus seems to have learned the game that Svala has been teaching him, but also seems to be loosing.

Alena walks downstairs, she waves at Romulus as she goes over to the bar and sits down.

Alex walks downstairs and sits at the bar besides Alena.

[Romulus]

Romulus looks up and waves back at Alena.

"Good afternoon Alena and Alex."

She smiles over at him, I think I'd like some bamhacon today, please.

Hello Romulus.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex nods and smiles at Alena, he orders to plates of bamhacon from Paige and pays when it arrives.

Thank you Alex. Alena eats hers while she looks around.

[Romulus]

Romulus turns back to the dice game with Svala.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex waves back to Romulus, he begins eating his meal. Between mouthfuls, "Oh, did you want anything to drink Alena?"

Oh, a water would be nice, thank you for asking Alex.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles and orders a lager and a glass of water from Paige, and pays when she flounces back across with the drinks.

Alena enjoys her bamhacon and finishes by drinking her water. She sneaks one hand over to Alex while she considers practicing her music.

Alex takes Alena's hand and gives it a squeeze just as he finishes his meal. He sips his drink as he looks around the tavern.

The kitten wakes up, purring. It laps up some of the milk.

Castaras wakes up, and prepares her spells.

Fus enters, slightly paler than usual. He sits down, fiddling with his amulet.

Alena squeezes back, I think I'm going to practice on my harp for a bit.

Castaras conjours some ear muffs so she doesn't get distracted, then carries on enchanting gems.

Fus gets up and stomps out, muttering about how music in general is stupid. He grumbles a bit about being tone deaf as well.

Drawn by the smell of more milk, the kitten purrs and laps it up.

Castaras reappears, and carries on drinking.

Fus reappears, slightly happier. He orders a drink of brandy and some bamhacon, and sits down, eating slowly.

Alex smiles at he music and leans back further...and then yelps as his chair begins to tip over "Oh shi-" the chair falls over backwards and Alex ends up flat on his back on the tavern floor.

Fus laughs at Alex. He has no sympathy whatsoever for Alex.

Alena finishes the song before she sets her harp upright and laughs and laughs.

Kyral appears in the Tavern with a small blaze of fire, looking as if he's in a very good mood. He laughs heartily and waves to everyone he knows, then sits down at a table and removes a red, ivory cup from thin air.

Alex sits up and mock frowns at Alena "That wasn't funny, I could have really hurt myself there."

She giggles and flares her wings out, I would have healed you, that was just funny. I've been waiting for you to do that.

Castaras sips her drink, and concentrates on one of her gems. Fus' eyes go pale, and he stands up and tap-dances to the music. He laughs again.

Castaras laughs at how ridiculous he looks.

*Caleb stands up for a bit and streches. He then unstraps his sword...the sword that is almost as big as him and starts cleaning it and polishing it*

Kyral removes a small pouch from his robe and begins pouring its contents, some chopped herbs, into the cup. He shakes it about for a few minutes, waiting for the herbs to settle evenly, then prouduces a stone jug of water out of nowhere. He carefully pours some water into the cup.

Alena flutters her wings and goes to sit in his lap, giving him the attention he wants. She puts her arms around his neck and kisses him.

Fus carries on dancing, and he grimaces.

Drow person, please can you dispel otto's dance? I don't like looking like an ass.

I haven't polymorphed you into a donkey...do you want that?

Alex wraps an arm around Alena and grins at her "You can read me like a book sometimes"

*Cloud looks up from polishing his sword* Very livly now *Takes a drink of his mead and countinues polishing his sword*

Alex nods at Alena "That would work, but you can read more into them than I'd like. I've got to keep some secrets otherwise things will get a little bit boring."

Fus dances himself over to Castaras and swings an arm at her. The dance keeps his arm from hitting her. Castaras grins at him and moves away.

Fus gets danced and treds on the Kitten's tail by accident. The Kitten bites Fus' ankle.

Fus is angry. And dancing.

"Lively?" Kyral begins stirring the herbs into the water with a small metal device, then picks up the cup and takes a long sip. "Lad, you haven't seen how lively it gets in this Tavern by a long shot."

[Castaras]

Fus dances around, purple with anger. Castaras starts to go breathless with laughter at the halfling dancing.

Alex gets himself a new chair and sits down in it. He straightens his clothing out and listens to Alena play.

The kitten looks up at Caleb, before nibbling at the died pieces of fish meat.

Fus carries on dancing in the center of the room.

Castaras orders a glass of water so she can stop laughing.

A displacer beast slinks into the tavern. He winds through the tables, giving a challenging glare at any patrons that care to look at him. He settles himself next to a stack of dirty dishes.

Ctrazt wakes up, noticing the displacer beast. He gives back the glare, only with a less "I can beat you to a pulp" look, and more of a "I'm criminaly insane". Ctrazt then goes to eyeing the patrons of the tavern.

Kyral notes the beast with a shrug and takes another long sip, sighing and putting the cup down. He glances at Caleb, then looks out the window.

Alex sighs and sips his lager while listening to her play.

Ctrazt's stare is met with indifference. For some reason or another, the insane don't really interest the feline. The beast also notices Caleb returning his challenge and bares his teeth. He watches him closely whilst lifting a dirty dish into the air with his tentacles. The dish is held in front of his face while he daintily licks off the meat scraps.

Iames appears in the Tavern and orders a hot chocolate.

[Castaras]

Castaras waves her hand, and Fus starts dancing towards the displacer beast.

You wouldn't dare!

He dances backwards, and does a backflip over the displacer beast. He falls down from it onto the displacer beast. He stops dancing.

Meow. Comments the kitten.

I would.

The beast answers Fus with a snarl of irritation. He begins to use his displacement ability to blur his motions. Seemingly out of nowhere, a large paw whips out backhand him away, although the claws are retracted.

Fus falls back, white with anger. He throws a lightening bolt at Castaras. Castaras throws a lightening bolt back to Fus, and groans as the bolt penetrates her spell resistance. The halfling dodges the bolt and gathers his magic together. The kitten hides.

Alex tilts his head on one side and smiles bemusedly at Alena. He glances at the fight breaking out and shrugs, he returns to listening and looking at Alena.

*Still not opening his eyes he points directly at both Castaras and Fus* Stop this meaningless fight at once! *He stands up to he full hieght while he says this*

The displacer beast lets out a vicious snarl at the battle. He is trying to decide who to attack. At the moment, the person who fell on top of him is higher on the list, although he can sense something underlied his action.

When Caleb stands and speaks, the beast's tentacles begin to flick back and forth out of habit while he contemplates honoring the half-giant's request by not joining in himself.

He lets out a sniff of annoyance and resumes licking at a particularly full plate.

[Castaras]

Ignoring all sane reasoning, Fus walks up to the half-drow clutching her side. He draws a long pure black blade. Castaras sees it and her eyes widen in fear. She throws up a shield, and draws her short pure black blade.

Kyral watches the fight amusedly, not recognizing the blades nor joining in himself. He takes another long sip of his herbal drink and glances at Caleb. "Well, if they've a feud between them, let them settle it. Don't go rushing in yourself."

[Castaras]

Castaras blocks Fus' sneak attack weakly, still taking a little damage. Fus draws out of his pocket a blue gem, as Castaras grabs hold of her glowing red fire opal.

The beast briefly notes Kyral's interest then sets down the plate. Deciding to use a fight to stretch his limbs, the beast moves non-threateningly to Caleb's side. The half-giant had earned a bit of respect in the beasts eye's and he decides to fight on his side to subdue the two.

Castaras throws herself out of the way as the blue gem shoots past her, making a hole in the floor. It heals up due to Trogs being indestructable. Castaras weakly summons magic, but her concentration breaks as the brain lock takes hold of her.

Fus ignores the brain lock and throws another lightening bolt at Castaras.

Ged's hand moves toward his sword, but stays away from the battle.
However, he begins to show obviously his longing to join in the battle

Alex lifts his chair up and brings it over to Alena's side. He kisses her on the cheek and watches the tavern warily.

*Caleb blinks out of sight and right next to Fus. Caleb then swings his sword down TOWARD his head aiming the blunt side of the blade to him*

Fus crumples, dropping the black shortsword. Castaras scrabbles for it, catching the blade. She collapses, hand on hilt, unconcious from bloodloss.

Hoping he is making a good decision, the beast drops the blade flat side against her hand. "You. Will. Not. Fight. More." It is obivious he means she will not continue the fight in the tavern, or at least not today, though she hardly looks in condition for it.

The beast notices the failed attack made by Ged and snarls viciously. His free tentacle lashes out with great force in an attempt to attack Ged.

The kitten walks up to the dancing man.

Castaras clasps hold of the dagger. She slowly pulls herself up and drags herself to a table. She rests her head on the table and closes her eyes.

The Dancing Man's cane somehow seems to be on his tophat as the kitten lunges for him, despite the fact it didn't move at all. He stops in front of Chaotic Bob, still grinning insanely.

The swords smacks into Tendai's Back but doesn't cut too deep. Tendai screams into rage and pounces on top of Ged tattempting to rip him in half

((Regice, i am afraid the sword disintigrates whatever it comes into contact with, without save. You would be dust probably. (the only thing it doesn't disintigrate is the sheath. Hilt doesn't disintigrate anything either)))

Destro summons a trout and places it on his table in case it is needed. After all, trout are very useful in a fight.
