So, long story short is that I hate these spells mechanics but love their flavor. I was planning on changing their effects to granting/removing the tanar'ri and obyrith subtypes. What occured to me is that players would probably abuse this if I madebit too cheap and ignore it if it were too expensive.

What would you say would be a fair price to gain tanar'ri or obyrith? Assuming that a wizard in your party can cast it (the purchase cost is not too much higher beyond that normally).

That is, grant them these traits?
Immunity to electricity and poison.
Resistance to acid 10, cold 10, and fire 10.
Telepathy.

Other than telepathy that doesn't seem all that impressive for, what, 8th-level spells? So probably a few hundred XP on the target, or a few thousand GP. A lot like mineralize warrior I suppose.

Telepathy is relatively prized. I honestly was not sure if this would turn into a "nust have" I want it to be a solid option, not a mandatory one.
