Just me or is, http://www.athas.org/, and especially http://www.athas.org/products/ds3

D&D certified, DM says everything 3.5 legal, these are just as legit as the other things created like dragon compendium ?

As I understand it, it's licensed third party, pretty much just like Dragon Magazine, which puts it in a funky position. The person you need to ask is your DM.

Well, WoTC did endorse them so I'd say "yes".

okay so dug through them, besides weapons and feats, I don't think i really found many gems. 3 or 4 very good prc's with a bunch of +0 or -1 tier list PRC;s.

The arcane version of ur-priest was a nice bit.

Soul Slayer Domain: Gain the ability to automatically grapple on the successful strike with a whip, and act under the effect of the improved grab special ability.


Hmm not much else among the domains besides, one that makes you immune to being deaf or silenced by sonic spells or sonic effects . One that lets you dispel illusions with a turning check . Another being immune to dazzle/blinding effects.

The arcane version of ur-priest was a nice bit.The Soulknife PrC is better than the d20 soulknife class. I'm also a fan of the Gladiator. IIRC, he can daze people as a move action or something.

Really really freakin low entry point, by like level 4.

This heavily follows the logic of the prestige base classes in the other bits like paladin/bard/ranger.


Now the question is... in this form, is it still not worth it?

They are "officialy endorsed". The way I see it, it's just "third-party plus". It doesn't mean it's "bad", or anything, just that it isn't published or monitored by WotC.
